What's going on with this place? Katy Ice used to be my favorite spot in Dallas, but lately the service has been terrible.The other night, I went with a group of friends and the girl who was serving us had a really bad attitude from the get-go. At one point, we ordered a cider and a beer, and she clearly misunderstood and brought us 2 ciders. We pointed out the mistake, and her attitude was extremely rude.She called us liars even though the 2 ciders were right there on the table... then she aggressively told us we had to leave, took the order away, and later brought the bill, CHARGING US FOR THE DRINK SHE JUST TOOK AWAY.We asked to speak with the manager but they never showed up. Instead, 2 security guards came, refused to give their names, and told us we had to leave, refusing to refund the money for the extra drinks they charged us for. While this was happening, the waitress was behind them laughing and making gestures at us (clearly she has some sort of social issue).I've been reading the latest reviews and a lot of people are upset about the service.If the owner of this place reads these comments, please do something about it and don't let it become a hostile bar for people.Tomorrow we'll be calling to demand to speak with the manager to ask for a refund and file a formal complaint against the waitress's violent behavior and the hostile attitude of the security staff.

This place has some of the worst service I have ever experienced. The wait staff is always rude and the loser bouncers in the front think they are saving the world from “drunk” people like my boyfriend. We were meeting a friend inside and they told my boyfriend he appeared too drunk to come in because he dropped his wallet (we were sober) and that he was slurring his words (he has an accent) racist much? Also, the food is trash so don’t waste your time here.

Horrible and very rude bouncers and staff!As soon as we walked in, the bouncers thought we were drunk and when we asked them why they assumed we were drunk, they didn’t give an answer. They said now they can’t let us in unless we apologize to them. Later we called to talk to the manger and one of the staff said he was the manager and he hung up the phone!Like who hired these people…..

Probably my favorite place in Dallas!Great atmosphere, really laid back and friendlyGood food at decent prices and that goes as well for the drinksHonestly you can't beat a place where you can go ride your bike or run on the Trail for a few miles and then just walk over sit down and have a great burger and a beer right awayOpens until late even in weekdays which is a plus as well if you're on vacation as I am

Drinks and beer selection are solid.The service isn’t great, though. Generally slow and most of the staff is rude.

Me and 5 guys came here to just grab a beer after dinner. The rules of not standing while at a table outside mind you, and the waitress voicing her annoyance because we bought beers at the bar top rather than at the table inside the bar was insane to all of us. We’re between the ages of 33 and 50 years old. Half way through our first beer the bouncer came over and said we had to leave. I’ve never been kicked out of a bar and never seen it happen while everyone was stone cold sober. I’ve never been so disrespected at an establishment. I wish nothing more than this bar to fail so I can have a well deserved beer upon its ashes. Do not go here. Whatever you do.

The cotton wood currently is insane. It felt like it was a snowstorm of cotton wood while eating. Our drinks and food was covered. I'd recommend skipping outdoor dining from April to May.Portion size on onion rings is just three pieces...
