The pastries were incredible, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. I tried their almond croissant, and it was perfectly flaky, with just the right amount of almond filling that wasn't too overpowering. The cookies were soft and chewy, and the flavors were rich without being too heavy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a baked good.

I had the pleasure of discovering Kessler Baking Studio on Bishop Arts. I highly recommend this establishment. Fortunately, I have found the perfect destination for cookie enthusiasts: Kessler Baking Studio. I hope they would develop a brown butter chocolate chip cookie with pecans in them, one dozen please. I would have added a photo but unfortunately., the cookies are almost gone because they are just that good.

I saw this place on TikTok and knew I had to try it! The shop is so clean and inviting and smells amazing. Clyde, the owner, was so fun to talk with as well. He explained all the cookies and bakery items, going into detail about the ingredients used and where they are sourced. It was so refreshing to see his passion come through and you can taste it in the products! The cinnamon rolls were the best I’ve ever had. I also bought a half dozen of cookies and had to resist eating them all on my way back to OKC. I also received a free box of biscotti (day old cookies) since it was my first time in! As a native Okie, I will definitely keep making the drive back to this sweet spot to fuel my way through grad school! 🥳

I stopped by to pick up some baked goods for a friend. I was greeted by a friendly young man at the counter and a massively homey atmosphere consisting of enticing baked goods and eyecatching cookie jars. The gentleman behind the counter described all the available baked goods and helped me choose a solid assortment of a dozen cookies. All of them were delicious. I don’t live in Dallas, but any future visits will definitely include a stop here.

A Local Gem with Heart, Flavor, and Incredible Service!
Kessler Baking Studio is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Dallas! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the most inviting aroma and an atmosphere that feels both cheerful and cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
I’ve now tried several of their baked goods, and every single item is perfection from the cookies to the brownies to the unique seasonal treats. Everything is made with care and tastes homemade, but elevated. You can taste the quality ingredients and love that go into each bite.
On top of the amazing baked goods, the customer service is top-notch. Everyone I’ve interacted with at Kessler is kind, helpful, and makes you feel like a valued part of the community. It’s the kind of place that brings a smile to your face every time you go.
Whether you’re grabbing a treat for yourself, picking up a gift, or placing a special order, Kessler Baking Studio never disappoints. I’m so grateful to have this sweet little spot nearby. Highly recommend!

TL;DR: This place had me outside talking to myself like, “Do I need another cookie?” The answer was yes. It’s always yes.
Kessler Baking Studio is exactly what every neighborhood wishes it had — a true local treasure. It’s small, warm, smells like heaven, and everything is baked from scratch daily. The moment you open the door, you know you’re in the right place.
As someone with a gluten intolerance, I’m used to compromising when it comes to baked goods. But Kessler changed the game for me. Their gluten-friendly Salted Chocolate Chunk cookie and Peanut Butter cookie are both incredible, but the Gluten-Friendly Brownie is in a league of its own. It’s rich, fudgy, and honestly the best brownie I have ever had — gluten-free or not.
On the days I’m not staying gluten-friendly, I’m grabbing an Oak Cliff Ranger (trust me — get it). And the Chicago Dog Croissant? As a Chicagoan who’s lived in Texas for 20 years, I can confidently say: don’t sleep on this one. The ingredients are top-tier and it’s the perfect mash-up of both worlds.
The staff gives this place its heartbeat — friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they bake. Add the bistro and Adirondack chairs outside, the relaxed music, and pricing that’s almost shocking for the quality, and you’ve got a neighborhood spot worth supporting again and again.
Portion sizes + quality for the price are wild. This is the place to grab treats before a game night or to bring cookies to work and instantly become everyone’s favorite person. Be the hero — bring the cookies.

My friend and I went to Kessler Baking Studio for the first time and our experience was amazing. They have a variety of cookies, biscotti, and even pastries. I got the chocolate croissant, NYC marble cookie, kesslerdoodle cookie, vanilla sugar cookie, and the oak cliff ranger biscotti. Even better than the cookies being delicious, Monique’s service was top tier. She was so warm and welcoming I didn’t want to leave!
