First time dining at Komodo and we absolutely loved it. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Wagyu Dumplings and all the sashimi was fantastic too.

I have been to the Miami location many times with consistent good food and service. However the Dallas location seem to be struggling to keep up with consistent quality of food or service. The food quantity declined since its opening days. My recent visit, I was there twice in the same week and the food quality was mediocre both nights. For example, the “money bag dumpling” tasted terrible and the meet inside was dry and poor taste. Any neighborhood cheap Chinese restaurant could have beat these expensive dumplings. They used to be amazing and not sure what happened. The rock shrimp appetizer was good the first night but on this visit they tasted horrible. The SURF & TURF FRIED RICE Was excellent during the previous visits yet this time they tasted horrible, bland and overcooked. I am sorry for this unflattering feedback, I love your establishment I think you should train your staff at the Miami location to let them experience of what good supposed to look and taste like.

Komodo Dallas is a solid 20/20 experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere set the tone — upscale, vibrant, and full of energy. The food? Outstanding. Every bite was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. A special shoutout goes to Rhett, who was the absolute best waiter I’ve had in a long time. Attentive, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu — he made the entire experience even better. I’ll absolutely be a repeat customer. Komodo Dallas has earned its spot as a go-to for top-tier dining in the city. Highly recommended!

Komodo exceeded all of my expectations. Our server was Rhett and he was beyond amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and his service was impeccable. He anticipated our needs and made sure we were taken care of. We were given complimentary small bites and shots which were both delicious. We enjoyed our entrees some of which were recommended by Rhett (Terry Blacks Beef, Surf and Turf Fried Rice and Szechuan Brussels sprouts). Once we were leaving we were given a quick tour of the upstairs which was beautiful. I will definitely return to Komodo as long as Rhett is available

I was excited to come to dinner with a group. The service was friendly but highly disorganized. Dishes were not cleared, and our meals came out at different times. Since it was a group of 8 we were charged 20% gratuity and a service charge so maybe they didn’t care that the service was trash. Afterwards we went upstairs where one of the staff members pushed me out of the way for their bottle service parade. UNACCEPTABLE! I will never go back to this trash restaurant.
Very friendly staff but for the price the food is very subpar. The service was also slow and our water was never replenished. Plus there's a 3% service fee. The decor inside is beautiful but would never come here again.

I love this place. I do think that it's overpriced, but they have a few dishes there that are super yummy . The truffle honey salmon, surf and turf, fried rice, spring rolls! The bomb!!!! Great service.

The food and ambience were really good. Our waiter clearly loves his job and was pleasant. I had the miso Seanad with nori and a side of sezchuan Brussel sprouts. They needed a little more sauce but were otherwise prepared just the way I like them.
