A cute little shop that will be missed as they are due to permanently close 7/9/22. We went in to try out some of their treats. We got the tuxedo and the brownie and paid $11 for the two items. The staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. They made sure to put utensils in the bag (greatly appreciated) along with plenty of napkins. I loved the Oreo cookie on top of the brownie however overall it was a little sweet and it wasn't something I could eat in one sitting. The man child also sampled it and his complaint was that the brownie was a little dry. He however loved his tuxedo and didn't even bother to offer to share. I was hoping to be able to try their Bundt cake as I have heard people rave about it but I wasn't able to order and get back before the closed. I asked if they would still be making cakes once the store closed however she told me no. I wish I had found this place earlier and I wish them the best on their next adventure.

Ordered cupcakes for a Bday celebration. Cupcakes were red velvet, oreo and wedding cake. All were absolutely amazing!!!! Also ordered a few cupcakes stuffed with cookies, just priceless. Custom service and seem less ordering process were top notch as well.

Ordered a birthday cake for my husband and it was such a great vanilla cake! The cupcakes were good too but I couldn’t taste the difference between the italian cream and the other one with bananas in it.

As lovers of baked treats, this place absolutely hit the spot. I don't even like oatmeal raisin cookies, and I was grabbing for more. We went in half an hour before closing, and the lady was so patient and kind in explaining everything. The cupcakes were both so moist and all the flavors complimented each other very well.We will for sure be back when we're in the area.

We stopped by this gem after having lunch at a nearby spot. You will not find a huge dessert display like your usual cupcake/dessert stores. Please do not let that discourage you because you will miss out! They have cupcakes, cake slices, stuffed cake slices (yes I said stuffed!), brownies and cookies. The service was very friendly as soon as we walked in the door. I am so disappointed that I didn't take any pictures of the desserts, but unfortunately we devoured them very quickly. They were extremely delicious! Did I mention the service was top notch?! Very glad we stopped by and will be back again soon

The experience at Kookie Haven was great! I ordered chocolate chip cookies which were amazing. I also ordered the red velvet and vegan chocolate square bites (their version of cupcakes) and they were delicious. The service was quick and the pricing is a little steep but you're definitely paying for quality here. Definitely recommend it!
4 Stars because the cake was delicious BUT my friend and I went to lunch next door and decided to stop in for a treat. During check out, the lady asked if we were together or separate. My friend responded “together” because she was going to pay for mine. Well they boxed our treats together and I simply asked for another box. They said I had to pay for the box since we originally said we were “together”. I explained we were paying together but we were going our separate ways so please give me another box. They said “No sorry it’s our policy. When we asked if it was together, you should have not said yes”. This was absolutely ridiculous!! They REFUSED to give me another box unless I paid for it. Which I did not because we never asked for our treats be together and it was never specified what they meant by “together”. They should have made a one time exception considering their “policy” was not clear!

Great place in a great location! I've been here a couple times before & recently ordered a delivery to my boss for his birthday. Though building security wouldn't let the driver make delivery, the delivery guy was undeterred! He called the number on the order (mine) and said he would wait while I called my boss to come get the delivery. The cookies & cakes were delicious said my boss & his family. They live in the Lakewood area & his wife said Kookie Haven was better than the bakeries they're familiar with (e.g Society Bakery). Would definitely recommend trying this place out! There are lots of shops/restaurants in the neighborhood. There's also ample parking along the street or in a free lot behind the strip. Oh! And you'll be supporting a women-owned, black-owned local business!!

I am a very critical judge of cake, and I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best cake I've had in Dallas--maybe even anywhere (outside my own kitchen ). The bakers here ain't playin'.

I ordered a cake for my Mom's birthday. The cake was beautiful and delicious. Was nice to have a cake that was light and not too sweet. They even gave me directions on how to serve the cake since we were not having it until the next day. When is the last time someone actually asked you when you were serving the cake to ensure the best outcome? Great cakes and good service.

My gf and I were super super impressed on the reviews of 5 stars and was like we need to check this place out. Greeted and talked too once we walked through, and told everything is popular and they had amazing regular chocolate chip cookies I ever tasted. The red velvet square and tuxedo was bomb. Like it was savory and melting in your mouth. I wish I took a picture of it and share how much we care but I say check it out yourself :)
