This is my go-to Korean food location whenever I'm in the area ... usually the night before traveling out of DFW Airport or when I return. Very nice staff, minimal wait, and if you happen to know a few Korean words/greetings, I encourage you to converse to the best of your abilities. I've recommended this restaurant to friends and family and will continue to go there whenever I can.

Lovey place with excellent customer service. James was my MVP today. He told us the history of the place and it’s the 1st Korean restaurant in Dallas. James was soo professional and very friendly. My daughter calls him uncle James now 🥂

I had never had Korean food and wanted to give it a try for lunch while I was in Dallas for a convention. The wonderful gentleman that waited on me was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and there so much of it! I wish I could remember what I had but it was a noodle dish. The sides were good with some unexpected flavors. I wish I knew what they were so I could potentially find them at home in SC. The prices were fantastic for the amount of food and quality. After my meal, the gentleman went above and beyond and walked me to my car with an umbrella because it was pouring the rain. Unbelievable! If I’m ever back in Dallas, it’ll be my first meal stop! Thank you to everyone that was working that day.

I went here for the first time since the late 90s & was impressed by the attentive service plus the patience of the waitress explaining that the BBQ menu required 2 person minimum. Her recommendation of the Buggogi, glass noodles and miso was what I needed for a Good Friday meal!
I shall return!

Absolutely

It was so good! Very nice staff! Friendly service. Nice portion sizes too. I had no idea what I was ordering. It’s another language & they can’t explain because they don’t speak any English so we just googled the food to figure out what it was. The menu does provide pictures.

4.3 stars. 1st time customers.

Driven by here for years but never stopped in. Wife wanted Korean food so we finally gave this place a shot. From the outside and the surrounding area, we did not expect much. Immediately upon entering, however, we were warmly greeted by the ajumma who smiled and seated us. Well lit and clean, we were pleasantly surprised.

The restaurant was not too full on a Saturday night but smelled wonderful from the plates of other customers. We started with the Kimchi Pachun ($15.99) as our appetizer. Decently sized, it was tasty and served to us by our server Jennifer.

For main entrees, our son had the Galbi Naengmyun ($29.99) which he absolutely enjoyed. Perfectly seasoned and cooked beef short ribs served with cold noodles hit the spot. Wife had the Kimchi Dolsot Bibimbap ($17.99) while I went with the Kimchi Jigae ($17.99). Both were served piping hot along with numerous banchan.

Service was consistent throughout the evening with the team removing plates, dishes when finished and topping off our drinks. Overall, we enjoyed our first experience here. With tip included, dinner for our party of 3 totaled $105.

Korea House has been in business since 1979 (from what I read on a newspaper clipping located on the wall). It’s easy to see how and why it still continues to hold its ground in the competitive DFW food scene. We recommend you check this place out at least once the next time you are digging Korean flavors.
