This used to be our favorite Korean BBQ spot. Our family went almost every week for a long time, and it was consistently great.
Unfortunately, over our last three visits, the meat quality has dropped significantly. Each time we hoped it was just a one-off, but it kept getting worse.
It’s really disappointing because this place used to be a go-to for us. Sadly, we don’t go here anymore.

Really good Korean BBQ and they use real coals, not propane. Love the sides here too. Recent remodel changes the old school Korean restaurant atheistic to more modern open style restaurant. Still same great taste.

Koryo used to be my favorite Kbbq. Friendly service, great quality of meats, and the palate cleanser ginger cinnamon tea at the end of the meal was amazing. However, the last 3 times I been here they said that they ran out of their ginger cinnamon tea. Whoever is in charge needs to better accommodate / allocate especially when reservations are made. All 3 times were at different times afternoon, early evening, and late evening. Also, the meats have decrease in quality. The server could improve by letting us know what meats are being served. With more Korean bbq restaurants in the area they cannot afford to perform worse than before. I will not be coming back.

Koryo is always the best the charcoal grill make the taste much better than other K BBQ places' electric or gas grills. Staffs are very nice and kind. Koryo has Dry Aged meat which is my most favorite. Specially during winter I feel cozy and fun. They have a great selection of drink too. This place most legit KBBQ place ever!!!!! I have so many good memories already. You sould try!!! Haven't tried yet K BBQ? If you don't know how to or what to eat? Just ask your server. They will recommend what to order and tell you how to eat.

The perfect place for Korean BBQ! We’ve been twice and service has been perfect both times (friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with).
The BBQ set is decent, but I highly recommend the Marinated Beef Short Rib and the Smoked Beef Short Rib. The tea they provide is also great too! It’s a bit pricey, but it’s totally worth it (and it’s not unreasonable given the Banchan, tea, and service).
If you’re looking for a wonderful environment with great service and good Korean food, this is the place to be!

The guy name ‘Dallas’ who is working in the front was soooooo impolite. When I talk to him that I have a reservation for a room, he is saying ing that the reservation is for a table NOT for a room. he is saying that he is not the one who made appointment and he does not know whether I made it for a table or a room. So, I showed him my receipt to that guy. Surprisingly, he raised his voice and saying that he has to do his job and asked me to get out of his way and he will not give me a room regardless. I lived in Dallas for fourteen years , I’ve never seen this kind of manner from any kind of employee in the restaurant. I highly insist this guy ‘Dallas’ should be penalized by what he has done to me and shouldn’t be working with the worst manner in Dallas area. I am customer for this restaurant for more than 10years, but this is the first time I got frustrated. The restaurant should re-evaluate the quality of the services of certain employees and make improvement right away. I am pretty sure I am not the only guy who felt frustration for this guy ‘Dallas.’ Anyone who got treated the way I treated, leave a review here so that this Resturant can make an improvement!!!

Usually this place is a good late night spot but it has gone down hill last few visits quality’s gone down they never have the complimentary tea, and this last visit they had no rice I noticed they will wait for tables to order food then when it’s too late tell them they have no rice way overpriced food for the quality and lack of consistency I wanted to show friends this spot and brought them and it was the absolute worst experience for a meal this price Waffle House would’ve been better service ….
Wonder host and food. One of the best environments I’ve been to in a minute. Only made better with good company!

Stumbled upon this place the other day and had a wonderful date night with my girlfriend. Knowing nothing about the restaurant, everything felt like a pleasant surprise from the atmosphere/upscale vibe, the charcoal grill, and server preparing the meat for us. Enjoyed the silla(?) menu that included prime and marinated short rib, korean miso soup and delicious steamed egg.
A huge thank you to our server Virgil who gave stellar service and was very kind as to explain certain menu items, side dishes provided, and treated us to ginger tea at the end of our meal. Truly made our night.
