Today I visited the worst Kroger on the face of the planet I went to the customer service area ( oxymoron) to cash a coin star and the time was 1350 The lady who is always rude was there and said she would be back at 1400 I went back at 1400 There was no sign that it was closed but at 1407 a low mid level management person screamed from the self checkout that it was closed I said the lady said she would be back at 2 she again screamed it is closed I asked why she doesn't put a sign up that it is closed and she did not reply just stood there never putting up a sign or apologizing for it being closed or not putting up a sign Returned several days later again there was no sign it was closed and after about 7 minutes another low mid level management screamed that it was closed Again I walked over to her ( this should be the opposite she should be walking up saying " sir I'm sorry but this is closed right now" And than she should have put up the sign saying closed but just stood there clueless in what customer service is really about Returned another 5 days later and at least there was a sign that it was closed this time I asked the same person who was screaming like a banshee the first time I was there when it would be open and she had no idea Returned about 6 days later and this time there was an individual behind the counter No smile No hello Her only question to me was why did it take so long for me to cash the coin star ticket I told her my "journey " of trying to cash it and she did apologize for it taking so long ( it was about 17 days )

People are rude. The store is understaffed. They only have self checkout. The place sucks!

A filthy store. Rude and unaccomodating staff. Food shelf life expired. Avoid at all costs.

I might as well add another disastrous review, but I know Kroger will do nothing about it. NOTHING.Did you know this is the only Kroger in their entire system which has no checkers? The only one. It's an experiment which has gone terribly wrong.Let's forget about this for a moment. The "Floor Managers" are smug, condescending...and uneducated. They are poorly trained, and do not know how to interact with the vast number of highly agitated customers, and there are many. Every minute of the day.Last Friday I went into the store, and the main "checkout" lines were closed. ALL of them. I asked a manager what was going on and she smirked at me, "We are short-staffed." I said, "you have no one to bag my groceries." She said ..."we are short-staffed." I asked, why can't you bag my groceries? She replied, "It's not my job."I then attempted to call Kroger to lodge a complaint, but here is another example of ineptitude at its finest. Customer service is in a foreign country, and they refuse to give out their location or anyone's phone number or email address. One last thing: There is a girl named Vanessa who is a minority, and pregnant. She doesn't want her job and makes no attempt to hide this fact. She is the rudest of the lot, dismissive, condescending and downright nasty. She needs to be terminated.I am retired. When I look at the way this store is run, it makes me very sad, and extremely angry. How far our country has fallen.

This is absolutely the worst Kroger if ever been in. It seems in the DFW area the store is not trying to take care of the customers. This location doesn't even use regular cash registers. You have to do it all yourself. I drive farther just to go to a little nicer one because last time I had something that did not check out correctly and it was a long time before he actually just took care of it for me. Overall people in there seem super lazy and not anxious to help you and are super rude.

Still one star. They do not care about customers. No manager on duty, and a true sense of indifference by all employees.

HORRIBLE I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS HOW YOU ALL TREAT VETERANS IT IS A DISGRACE AND IS TRULY DISHEARTENING I came into this Kroger after flying in from Love Field to get my lady some beautiful flowers they had a sale going on wasn't greeted not one time was helped by a man in the store and he was pleasantly polite but the two women in the self check out the heavy set Latina and the medium built African amarrican lady an absolute disgrace just rude as rude can be didn't care that I didn't live there. so many instances to reveal but one in particular I grabbed a toothbrush on a rack that had 4 or 5 underneath a certain price point rung it up at register it showed a different price I said ma'am this is coming up for a different price then advertised so I offered to show her but her lazy self scanned it with her Gun and said nope the price is right I said but there is multiple ones hanging up under the discounted price she said it was wrong and didn't offer to honor it or fix it so I said hey can you watch my items everything is scanned already I'll go grab another toothbrush she said okay I wasn't gone 30 secs before she took all my stuff out it to the side and let another customer use the lane and it wasn't like all the other lanes wasn't open it wasn't even busy in there then I come back and say what happened she said I waited as long as I could and I said wow thanks for the welcome to Dallas and then I said is this how you treat veterans and she got an attitude with me and I had to wait almost another 5-10 mins to rescan and pay for my items . never ever again will I come back to this Kroger and don't get me started on the medium built black lady got mad at me because she had to scan her badge on a register. I hope you all read this and understand you choose that job don't make us as customers pay for your mistake smiling and being nice will always go over better.

This location is my neighborhood Kroger and I always loved it until now. There is an old hag that has harassed me twice now. Idk what her name is but she an old black lady that always wears a long skirt with beat up tennis shoes. This lady yelled at me upon out first encounter and now today she stood next to me and just stared with her bug eyes while I waited on another employee to give me a price check. I'm not sure if maybe she has no business of her own or if she just loves being in other peoples way but I'm really considering calling cooperate on her. Her lack of hospitality really should get her fired. You cant be in customer service being as gripey as she is.

Why is there an employee hanging out with someone aggressively swinging a baseball bat at everyone coming and going from the parking lot?

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but man. I've shopped at this location once or twice because going to same grocery store can get a little monotonous but truly this one is an interesting puzzle. Layout wise it's fine, it makes sense. It's a bit cramped but they utilize the space well. The produce is always there. And there's plenty of meat, chicken, pork, and fish on display. The folks working the deli are pretty kind and do their job well. The fisher/butcher are also on their game. When it comes to check out it's kind of a nightmare. There's express self check out, self check out, and assisted self check out. Every time I go I swear there's like 6/7 people working the check out. But inevitably only one of them is actually fulfilling a role; and somehow it's always a manager. And the limit is set so low on both assisted and regular self check out, you're required to have someone there to help remove the limit. It's kind of ridiculous. Pile on that most of the clientele seem a bit impatient; it's a cocktail for disaster. The level of anxiety I felt by proxy having to assist a customer clearly not in her right mind in front of me while an employ just watched was interesting. You're a grocer serving a large diverse neighborhood. I'm not sure why the switch was made. But I'm sure it drove business elsewhere. Also, 6/7 employees standing around watching people instead of doing something. Very interesting.

Yeah, Kroger has never really been on my list of favorite grocery chains. I've always felt like they come up short on selection, service and quality. This store is no exception. We stopped in here on our way home from the strip to grab the necessities for a cheese fondue. Fairly common ingredients, so we figured a dedicated grocery store would have them. Nope. They were completely out of fontina and shredded swiss cheeses. They had literally one loaf of French bread in the bakery area and for small potatoes, pretty much just the ones you buy and microwave in the tub. The store is extremely cluttered and a real pain to get around. It's not well-laid out at all and the parking lot is a royal pain in the backside. While it's convenient if you're in the Cedar Springs area, this Kroger doesn't have much else going for it.

Avoid. They say if one person takes the time to register a complaint they represent 40 people who didn't. This location is self-checkout only. The time and frustration of an attendant assisting and apologizing for repeat scan errors is ridiculous. Should be an easy process. Never again. The deli was always subpar.

This business is beyond erratic. Service is often rude but worse / they close frequently between 1 and 3 hours early. They stand outside yelling at customers "we closed" in a hostile manner. The worst grocery store I've ever seen

I question this Kroger because the last few times it was sooo hot inside. All of my frozen food was liquid which is very unsafe and odd . The frozen margarita mix was straight liquid. That's very concerning! Mind you, I live less than 5 min away . Lines are bad but even worse at the Kroger on Maple.
