This was unexpected. Don’t be fooled by the location or small amount of seating… every dish they brought out just kept getting better and better! I personally would’ve liked a little less automation and technology in the experience (taking our drink orders while also using a touch screen coffee maker instead of hand-crafting the drinks), but if they’re taking that time saved and putting it into the food - that’s fine by me!
I stopped by La Duni after a menopause convention I'm Oak Lawn, I'm so glad I did! Early afternoon, it was bustling at first, but then the whole place cleared out and I just about had it to myself. It's a tiny space for now, but worth it even to pick up takeout. I had the Havana pork and it was so delicious, I ordered another entree to take back to the Air BnB for dinner, I also ended up taking two Cake In A Jars home. The grand finale, I got to chat with my server...
I had the cava Blanca and French toast. It was absolutely divine. I throughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was very quint and the people are attentive and happy. I will mk sure that we come back again.
