I still enjoy LA Hanbat. It’s our go-to for takeout so lang tang. I saw a review mentioning that the name is Dallas Hanbat- the outside sign definitely still says LA Hanbat but I see google listing them as Dallas Hanbat.

I think the previous owners have sold out because I don’t see the same older sweet grandmas that always welcomed me. Still the new owners have been friendly. Quality - I feel like the soup is slightly thinner than it used to be but it’s still good. When I order a slightly larger to- go order they bolster the banchans which I like - in addition to the kimchi and radish which you always get I have received those little pancakes with scallion and onion, some potatoes with sweet gochujang sauce, and some jang ah chee (pickeled onions, pickles, celery and peppers). Really good.

As a Korean, I was very happy with the food. Their seolleongtang is delicious. For people who are not familiar with this dish, it is intention served bland, and you are meant to salt it to taste and eat with the provided sides

Don’t bother. We wanted cold noodles and walked in at 8:30pm on a Friday night only to be told that the kitchen could not make any cold noodles (nang myeon) So we ordered two of their specialty soups and dumplings. One soup was so salty. The other one was so bland… don’t waste your time and money here.

Been to the one in LA several times and everything tasted about the same. I really missed the Kkakdugi and it was just as good as I remembered. I got the Dogani Tang (Ox Knee Soup) and ate the entire thing, so gooood! Hubby loved the Kalbi, said he wished he ordered more. Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Plus they open early, 8am.

Seol-lung-tang at this location is more authentic Korean than the original hanbat in LA - the soup is thicker and it tastes deeper but the taste is obviously not the same. You will like this place if you don't expect the same LA taste. And I was so surprise to find out it's a dollar more expensive than LA...ReaLLY???

I have been to many Korean places in DFW but the food here is authentic Korean. Their Bibim Naengmyeon is probably the best in DFW as well. They have great soju specials for lunch and weekends.

This restaurant has the best authentic Korean soups!! We usual get the rice cake and dumplings soup and the galbi. I love the little side dishes we eat those up before the food even gets to our table. The workers there are always sweet. Amazing food and great vibes!!
