This is the best place to go for Popusas! I originally called in thinking it was like the place on Carroll Ave but it is way beyond their standards. You don’t wait a over 30 minutes for an order, they have it ready at the time they tell you. The employees are sweet and get the job done. The pupusas are very delicious; my favorite being the chicken ones! This restaurant is a MUST, if you haven’t already been there, you’re missing out!

Oh my dios, this place is so good. And quite cheap. Now I’m on a hunt for Salvadoran pupusas while in Dallas.

I have been in search for a good tamale since I got to Dallas. I was doing my laundry nearby and stumbled on this little diner. Lucky for me they had tamales, so I ordered one. The tamale was wrapped in foil and then wrapped in a green leaf. The tamale was pipping hot with steam and smelled incredible. A sauce, kind of like salsa, that came with it was orange in color, slightly thick in consistency and had a just right amount of heat. I doused the tamale in the sauce and was in heaven!. The texture of the masa was smooth and held its shape well. The chicken was seasoned nicely and along with the salsa...by far and hands down the best tamale I have ever eaten! After my laundry was done, I returned to buy 6 more, that were very reasonably priced. I spoke to one of the staff who said the best thing you can hear from any restaurant, "we cook like we are at home".Take away, the tamales are over the top and reasonably priced enough to give them a try

These are real pupusas! I had the mixed (revueltas) and they are generous with the servings. Moist and delicious.

La Pasadita has amazing pupusas! My favorite are the chicken and cheese, and bean and cheese. You have to try the tamale de elote, and the Salvadoran tamale is so rich in flavor. I highly recommend La Pasadita! ???
Loved the pupusas and the tamales. The ingredients are fresh and authentic. I would definitely recommend this place. Great place if you want real authentic Salvadorian flavors!

I didn't like that they are not polite &helpful unless u are Latino.. I was so excited when I seen the new restaurant opening in our neighborhood but was very disappointed when I came n to try em out. the lady said in order to get 2 tortillas per taco (as usually sold with street tacos) tht I would have to pay xtra. Total turnoff!! I will say tht I also ordered a tamales &it was pretty good

I was so excited when I saw them open up a second location closer to my mother's house so I stop by when I visit. My mother has known the owner for a couple of years and when I used to live in the area, we would frequent the original spot very often. The pupusas are still as delicious as I remember them and am glad to see they are adding more to their menu. Worth the drive from Rowlett when craving authentic pupusas
