Great date night vibe! Live music, great food, and an open bar if that's more your style. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. Great experience!
Must visit in downtown Dallas! La Stella Cucina Verace is an absolute gem in Dallas—a true escape to Italy without ever leaving Texas. The ambience transports you: warm lighting, intimate tables, and a stylish yet welcoming vibe that whispers la dolce vita! Every detail feels intentional, and you can tell this place was designed for more than just dining—it's an experience. The flavors? Unmistakably Italian and undeniably handcrafted. Each dish is a love letter to tradition, made with care and authenticity. You can truly taste the difference—nothing feels mass-produced or rushed. The recipes feel like they've been passed down for generations, yet plated with modern elegance. A standout from our visit was the new Piccinini Family wine—smooth, balanced, and the perfect complement to every course. It's rare to find a wine that feels like a signature, but this one made a lasting impression. La Stella isn't just a dinner reservation—it's a memory in the making. You go for the ambience, stay for the experience, and find yourself coming back again and again... because the food simply calls you home. Book it for your next celebration or date night we might just see you there!
Beautiful restaurant. Adam was wonderful. Food was good but I expected it to be great especially for the price. Was also surprised to see an $11.00 still water charge.
We had a lovely anniversary dinner at La Stella. Filippo made the night very special for us with great recommendations and surprise touches. Highly recommended for a special night out. Get the Agnolotti to share for the table, and bread to get every last drop of that sauce.
I hesitate to even write this, because if people knew how good this place is, getting a table would be much more difficult. Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Authentic Italian, not the American version. And the singer was remarkably good! You won't regret trying this if you like authentic Italian cuisine.
The food was wonderful, loved the ambiance and our Italian waiter was the best ever. He was informing, funny and was very attentive. He is truly the best I have ever experienced!!! We will certainly be back!
The warm Caponata was quite good, although the crostini served with it were too spicy. The Agnolotti Pizzicati was quite tasty, although very rich. My friends enjoyed the Spaghetti Alessandra (it's a bit spicy) & the Rigatoni Calabresi (again spicy). Our server was helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed trying the STELLINI, AMALFITANO (not sweet like one would expect), & POMPEII cocktails.
We had reservations at the bar for dinner and drinks. All three bartenders were amazing. We were told they got a new chef and the special was halibut fish. I was a bit skeptical but we got it anyways. It was absolutely the best dinner we have had. Can't recommend it or this place enough!
One of the best dinners I have had in Dallas in many years. Wagu crostini to start. Lobster for my wife and halibut for me. Dessert was the best flourless chocolate cake ever made. With my eyes shut, the piano player was Frank Sinatra. A fantastic evening.
Need a date night spot? Need to eat before a show at the Myerson? If you are seeking Italian? This is it. Oso buco stuffed pasta and the papperdelle with wagyu bolognaese were our main courses. We shared a grilled romain salad with a house dressing that was rich and laid on fresh burratta. There is some slight fusion going on like the brushetta with the Waygu beef, caramelized onions and the acid of the basalmic then the brine from caviar. It was a delightful bite. The complimentary flavored ricotta flight and Limoncello was a nice treat. We enjoyed lovely cocktails and the voice of the piano player was amazing.

We didn't have make reservations since we were just in downtown for a school event at The Meyerson. They were able to fit us in for an early dinner and everything was good. My husband said the veal steak was chewy though. We enjoyed our dinner and plan to go back again.

A must-visit for authentic Italian cuisine.
Went here to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Dinner was really good with a couple of exceptions. The steak was a bit salty; eaten with the Balsamic reduction helped but we generally like our steak without sauces. On the other hand, the sautéed mushrooms over polenta lacked seasoning. The atmosphere was nice, as was the live music. The tables could be a bit larger - we couldn't even put our menus down. I also wish they'd kept to their dress code (I never knew short shorts with butt cheeks showing was business casual dress). Overall a nice place though.

Food was excellent, expensive of course. My only issue was that they put us at an elongated table by the glass half wall which was by the kitchen. It was noisy, very hard to have a conversation. Be sure to be seated in the main area.
