This is the only restaurant where you are asked why you didn't pay a tip.Tipping is the consumer's personal choice and not mandatory. Anyway, it is my responsibility to tell my friends in Dallas not to go to this restaurant.

Recently tried them for the first time via delivery. I’m not sure if I had them on an “off day” or what, but I’ve never had Ethiopian food that tasted as bland as the majority of the dishes in the veggie combo. I ended up tossing most of it.

Wonderful doro wot and warm, friendly service.
Yummy and delicious. First time here. So glad I tried the food. The veggie platter and 4 meets were excellent for two people. The flavors popped. Such comfort in the food. The service was excellent. The honey wine was so good. The coffee was also a nice finish to the meal. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The food was brought to us and when my sister was eating she saw a bug crawling in her food. She got the bug out and put it on the napkin. I showed it to the server. The server took the napkin and came back to say she was sorry. She then brought my sister another portion of where the bug was this time in a small bowl and cleaned off the injera and said sorry again. Then the owner, I’m guessing, came over to say she was also ‘sorry’ but didn’t offer to comp a portion of the meal. I have never been to a place where if there was hair or a bug in the food and not get a portion of the bill comped. We weren’t asking for the entire meal to be comped but a portion would have solidified all the ‘sorrys’.Make sure to look at your food before you eat it.

Another great Ethiopian restaurant. Was a little disappointed they didn't have the meat combo. But the veggie combo and the chicken doro wot was authentic and delicious. The tej wine was different, I liked the fermented and the hoppy flavor.

In my humble opinion Lalibela’s has the best Ethiopian cuisine in the area. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is excellent, and everyone that works here is so friendly. My home away from home.
This is the BEST restaurant in Dallas.

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food so I chose this place based off reviews. I placed an online order which they didn't start making until I got there. I wanted to change my order but no one speaks English at all. The atmosphere in this place was very uncomfortable the ladies were rude and pushy one of the 3 guys sitting at the bar was acting strange and worst of all my food was completely cold which really annoyed me because I was waiting for there for over 20 minutes so there's no excuse. The taste of the food was below average. I cannot recommend this place
