Authentic Mexican food is so hard to find, but this place was it! The food is wonderful, flavorful, and just enough for a light eater like me. We ordered the carnitas and chicken quesadillas, and they were so delicious! They come with a green sauce and smokey red sauce that fit the meal perfectly. I ordered a mezcal margarita and not was it smokey but extremely delicious! Hubby got a Mexican mule, but they had to alter it with ginger syrup because they don't have ginger beer. We have to come back and try more food and drinks. They have small batch tequila, shave, and medical that have no additives! Next time I'm ordering a flight so I can try different tequilas. You will be pleasantly surprised by the service. They all pay attention to you from the time you walk in, which is a good change from most restaurants. Go try then soon!

Las almas is a great place to get drinks and food. The bartenders were so nice and friendly and have good recommendations. Ended up getting the spice banana daiquiri and it was so good plus the palomas with mezcal were to die for. Great music and ambient. Highly recommend!

Outstanding. Best bar and Mexican food in Dallas proper. The drinks were spectacular (I strongly recommend the El Diablo). The street tacos and the quesadillas were phenomenal and some of the most flavorful I have ever had. We will become regulars here for sure.

Visiting Dallas from Australia and stumbled into Las Almas Rotas, what a revelation. This isn’t just a mezcal bar, it’s a place with soul. The staff know the stories behind every bottle and share them with genuine passion, not pretence.
I ordered according to the servers suggestions and it felt like stepping into a different landscape of Mexico, smoky, bright, earthy, surprising. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and welcoming. I felt looked after, not just served.
If you want something real in Dallas, something cultural, thoughtful, and full of heart, this is the place.

Went here Monday night with family and kids and everything was great. The server was great. The food was ok not authentic at all but it was fine , but then we came back 2 days later and they kicked us out because we had kids , kicking us out because we had kids was no issue. I understand they are a bar/restaurant, But the lady was so rude She wouldn’t even let me get a word out of my mouth she kept talking over me I wasn’t trying to stay there or anything. I was just explaining to her that we were just there with kids Two nights before. And even earlier that day we went in there so I’ve been to this place twice with kids.
Definitely wouldn’t go back or recommend to anyone There’s plenty of other bars/restaurants in the same area that are nice and don’t made up new rules as they feel
