1 star for Las Palmas — extremely disappointing experience, especially for a birthday celebration.
We made a reservation well in advance and were seated upstairs instead of the main dining area, which immediately felt like an afterthought. The food did not live up to the hype or price point.
The service was the worst part. While we were still eating our main courses, the server abruptly dropped the checks on the table and told us they needed the table back for another reservation. At no point were we informed of any time limit when we were seated. We weren’t offered dessert, coffee, or even the courtesy of finishing our meal without being rushed out.
It felt incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. A restaurant should never treat guests this way — especially when they’re there to celebrate a special occasion. Definitely not the level of hospitality you’d expect.

The wagyu fajitas were less than expected. Very chewy and not tender at all. The guacamole and quest Blanco were exceptional as was the salsa. Service was amazing. Great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere and service. Delicious meat and butter housemade sauce. Valet parking very efficient and waitress attentive to costumers. Waiting time might be longer than expected due to popularity suggest reservation prior to arriving however walk ins are welcome and could get a table if you are lucky. Good place to celebrate

I have been to Las Palmas several times now and I would have previously given them high marks. However, my last experience has completely changed my mind. I would drive from Fort Worth all the way to Dallas just to eat here. Now I won't. On the particular recent Saturday we went to lunch, service was horrible, food did not have a great taste (tasted old) and 4 out of 7 of us got food related illness. I did call to report and discuss this with them directly, however, all you can do is leave a message. It has been 3 weeks and nobody in their management has cared enough to give a call back or attempt to make it right. They have now lost a customer and I'd recommend using caution when eating here. If something tastes off, don't trust it because you might end up as sick as we were.

Had dinner here with a friend and had an amazing time. We didn’t have a reservation, but walked up on a Wednesday afternoon was told that there was going to be an hour late, but was quickly seated after 10 minutes. We got to enjoy the patio and it was super comfortable with the heaters. The food and service was amazing was really impressed by the chips and queso. I ordered the steak fajitas and my friend got the tacos. We were impressed by both dishes.
