Le Bon Temps Beignets and Coffee

The beignets are really fresh, light and fluffy. The outside is nice and crispy. The caramel sauce is delicious. the espresso was also very good. Over yes you have to come here after eating!

Love this place I stop by on my way out of deep ellum every chance I get. Half bag of mini beignets and a coffe can't be beat!

Absolutely good times at this place. I have been here more than once and the beignets are always warm and well covered in powdery star dust! They don't have my drink on the menu, but always make an ice mocha latte for me.

Cinna Bon Bon in the picture with cinnamon ice cream. Both were delicious. I wish the monthly flavor were part of the regular menu or sold longer than 3o days. Please open a location in North Dallas.

So disappointed ! Ordered 2 strawberry beignets waited for 20 minutes, a group ordered 42 beignets and got atleast half of their order. HAD TO ASK just for them to tell us our order was just about to be made. Never checked up on us to see if we got our order. Customer service -1 even tho the food was good I wouldn’t come back.

So yesterday 9/13/24 I ordered 3 beignets for 7.50 waited for my order got it walked to my car as I was about to eat one there was the biggest longest piece of hair on it I was in complete disgust. When I walked back to tell the worker he said it happens sometimes like wtf no it shouldn’t was my thought but ok whatever. Then he proceeds to remake my order I got it walked back to my car and as I ate one cool but as I was finishing a second one there was another hair on it and at this point I’m furious these workers simply don’t care and this place needs to be shut down. The lack of care and professionalism is sickening I’ll never eat here again in my natural born life ?

I googled this place after Another broken egg cafe ran out of their beignets. It’s a small cute place. The lady inside is okay, she is not very friendly. The beignets are very very very plain. I’m sorry they are just not it. The sauces she offers are not homemade. Yeah it’s just a hard “NO” for me. I felt like I was eating an underrated sopapilla. Way too much powdered sugar to cover up for the bland taste. She definitely needs to up her customer service game. I’m giving her one star for just having a place and trying.

Small street side or cozy inside service in Deep Ellum, Texas.

I took my niece and nephew last month and they devoured the classic beignets and beignets with Nutella! They were a nice size, hot, and freshly made. Their favorite part was that they were loaded with powdered sugar.

We waited and ate outside in the small cafe area. Helps with the powdered sugar mess!

Parking: I recommend parking in one of the paid parking lots in Deep Ellum and then walking to Le Bon Temps Beignets.
Paid street parking in front of the location can be scarce and difficult to navigate.

Pricing on website says 4 dollars for 3; place smells of weed and is run by millennials who are highly unprofessional. Didn't even order from this place bc it's a joke. When I went to check out they told me it's $7.50 for 3. No thanks. Teenagers who were "working" put a sign up that said "be back in 10 min". What an embarrassment for whoever the owner is

Very disappointed in my most recent visit. I went with my friend who ordered beignets 30 seconds after me. We were initially told it would take 15 minutes for our orders to be ready. I although I received my order my friend never did. We waited longer for hers to come out and instead we watched a guy that ordered 20 minutes after us walk out with an order a few minutes later. She walked in to ask about her order. And their response was “oh he took yours, we will make yours now”. So again we wait. End up waiting like 40 minutes in 100+ degree weather just for her to walk in and ask again. the person running the place immediately told her we are giving you a refund and blame it on the new employees working. She was not asking for a refund but simply for her order. There was no apology and if we didn’t ask again we probably still would have been waiting

Also please train your employees on hygiene when it comes to working with food. I watched an employee sneeze in her hands but did not wash them after

I didn't ask and didn't want a refund. 40 minutes of my time wasted for nothing and no one seemed apologetic. My previous visit had set a high standard, it was disappointing to see the quality of service so diminished.

Went on Saturday morning and the ladies were friendly. I got the standard 3 beignets and a cafe au lait and was very pleased. My order was cooked fresh, I got to enjoy it at their outdoor tables, and was even gifted some Nutella to try out with my treat. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others.
My only suggestion would be that they place a chalk sign or something outside just so you don't accidentally pass it up.
