Very nice overall experience. I got the Knock Out 3 meat baked potato, 2 peach cobblers, & some cabbage. The baked potato was enough to feed three adults, portion sizes are that big. That spicy BBQ sauce is so good!! I should’ve gotten extra lol The peach cobbler could be sweeter but that’s just my opinion. Will definitely be back soon.

I'm so sad that LIL V have changed owners or something cause I haven't seen the two brothers. I was there today 2/20/24 and it just didn't feel the same kinda cold and discomfort wasn't that good ole down home feeling. Then came the shock of my life at Lil V's the lady gave a lady 3 ribs cut in half chopped and sliced for a rib sandwich, then I ask for a rib sandwich well she gave me 2 and started cutting in half? I say ma'am you just gave the other person 3 and she told me I got a different meat than her but, the rib was the same piece she just cut from. So I walked out, still don't understand what she was talking about. My last time going there until it changes back to the original Lil V. So disappointed ?

OMG, I'm from Houston where we have the #1 BBQ spot. So my cousin took me here last night. I told them I was from Houston where we have the best BBQ. They bragged n gave me a sample of the brisket. I was hooked by then. So of course I ordered a sliced beef plate and asked for onions and jalapenos. They didn't have onion but the gun holding cashier said I could get all the peppers I wanted. So got home didn't have sliced beef or the same brisket I tasted. It was chopped n a totally different meat from what we tasted. Then I was charged for the peppers $.75 totaling $4.50 for those tiny containers n pickles .$75 that I didn't even ask for. I was robbed by the gun holding cashier n the meat cutter did a bait n switch on me. Triple J, you're still my #1 BBQ spot.

Stopped in Dallas for the thanksgiving Cowboys game (we won ?) and had to come get some authentic souther, local business, bbq and THIS WAS THE MOST PERFECT SPOT, AAAND they love God! ??? proverbs 16:2, what a powerful verse to promote. Pastors and the 1st ladies get free meals on Sundays if they bring 7 guests. That’s incredible. My mom’s a minister in Albuquerque NM, and she always pays a lot to take her congregants out to lunch so this is a great way to bring people out. Vibe was great, food was incredible ! Portions are crazy!! I can’t believe my boyfriend and I got full off a 2 meat plate and not even pay $20 ? I wish I lived here so I could be a regular. lol but anyway, back home. Great stuff guys !!

Was a bit disappointing. She had the loaded potato and…she no like. No….no…she no like. She said there was no flavor. And the bacon crumbled on top looked and tasted like cheap baco bits. That stuff made from chemicals with bacon flavor added??♀️ And I had the rib plate with Mac n cheese and baked beans. Baked beans was the only thing that was pretty good but tasted like bush’s baked beans. Nothing seemed seasoned. Mac n cheese was bland with what looked to be red pepper flakes and I had to mix it with the beans to eat it? The ribs…I wish I washed the bbq sauce off, seasoned it and threw it in the oven. The sauce tasted vinegary and was a bit thin. If I didn’t feel guilty about wasting money, I honestly would’ve thrown the whole plate away. It’s nowhere close to how good it was at the old location. I remember the meat being perfectly smoked and seasoned. The sauce was thicker with a nice kick. And the potatoes and Mac n cheese owned meh? I was really hoping to fall in love again because the old location was the best I’ve had since being in Dallas. But when I came in and didn’t see the big dude sitting in the chair behind the counter cutting meat, I got nervous. That should’ve been my sign.

My Mom and I wanted to eat some BBQ and my mom said Let's go to this place that your DAD loved to go before his passing. And we came here boy was i amazing the place was sooo nice and the workers were too. We order a KNOCKED OUT POTATOE and was it a KNOCK OUT PUT ME TO SLEEP right afterwards. Then cam back the 2nd time with my husband and now that the ONLY PLACE my husband wants his POTATOE from.

I usually go here all the time but this time it was terrible. I didn't get no barbecue sauce. My fully loaded baked potatoes were missing a lot of stuff, chives, and barbque sauce sour cream butter, very poor baked potatoes.Was plain no barbecue sauce at all whatsoever. And then choppy sandwiches they are charging more than usual used to be 1.00 went up to 2.50 went up to 3.50 gave no sauce was dry terrible this place was great use to come weekly but I will think about it before I come take pride of what you do and by you blessing someone...Someone will bless you don't lose hope keep it strong because we are the people who keep your company standing strongParking: Lock your doors at all times
