We had the pleasure of celebrating Mother's Day at Pyramid Restaurant, and it was great experience. We were a large party and they gave us a great table. The food was fresh, flavorful, dessert buffet had good selection too. Our server was attentive and friendly and their Manager took good care of us even through it was busy. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Pyramid Restaurant and can't wait to return.

Went for the Mother's Day brunch and enjoyed everything g we ate. The chicken on the rd velvet waffles wasn't the best, but the red velvet waffle was delicious. The fried cauliflower was a huge hit. The roses and mimosa bar was a favorite!

Mother's day brunch was a disaster. Showed up today to have Mother's day brunch. Waitress was slow and didn't seem interested in serving us. My daughter has a nut allergy and told the waitress to leave nuts and seeds out of appetizer acai bowl. It showed up with nuts and seeds. Manager came and asked if she would just prefer chicken strips and fries. We agreed but the chicken strips were not cooked all the way through. My 6 year old daughter even said they tried to "poison" her twice. My wife enjoyed her tempura fried cauliflower and I thought the ceasar salad was really good so the meal started good. 90 minutes go by and entrees still hadn't come out. Waitress was m.i.a. so we couldn't complain or get drinks refills. The lobster roll had too much mayonnaise so my wife didn't even eat her Mother's day meal. My smashed burgers were just regular burgers and over sauced and wasn't that good. When the check came we were charged for all 3 Mother's day special meals even though my daughter only got semi raw chicken and didn't eat anything else after talk with manager I got a discount. This was not good experience and we'll never go back.

Service wasn't the best. Having drinks sit empty for long periods of time, once courses were cleared, no flatware brought back out. Next course arrived and no utensils to eat with. Took a while for server to come back around to see that we needed more silverware. The restaurant wasn't even full. Various dishes throughout the meal weren't hot, I'd barely say that they were lukewarm. We didn't send anything back I just know we won't be returning and I don't recommend.

The food was quite good but the portions were unexpectedly small and, thus, overpriced. Service was average. In addition, we were charged for plates to split the meal. There was no bread basket offered before or with dinner. When we asked for bread, we were given two (very delicious biscuits). When we received our bill, we were also changed for those.??‍♀️ I loved the Fairmont, but I will explore other dining options next time. However, one cannot beat the convenience, since this the Pyramid is inside the Fairmont Hotel.

Frankly, we were disappointed with our experience at Pyramid Restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel. The waiter seemed to be new and inexperienced. We waited nearly 15 minutes to get served & then he messed up my wife's order (brought her oatmeal when she had ordered omelette). My Eggs Benedict with Texas crawfish were way overcooked! The crawfish were ok. The mimosa bar was good. The price were not outrages, but the brunch choices were somewhat limited and the poor service & botched order lowered the value significantly. Maybe their lunch or dinner services are better, but the Easter Brunch left a lot to de desired. One positive was the piano player!

We ate their two mornings in a row as we were staying at the hotel. The first day, the hostess did not seem to care anyone was waiting and when she finally came to the front told us it would be 10 minutes notwithstanding there were many open tables. No big deal though as we did sit in the 10 minutes. The avocado toast was excellent but for $22.00 i would have expected a whole piece of toast; it was served with half. More of a snack than breakfast. My wife had the salmon which was very good. Total for breakfast, with coffee, tax and tip was $75,00. The second day, I made a reservation for breakfast. As we were waiting to be seated, four people got up from their table to leave and said, "Good luck. We have been waiting for 40 minutes and still have not been waited on...". However, we were seated fairly quickly but, to avoid any issues, decided to have the buffet. My only issue from that point forward related to the cost. When asked, the hostess told us the cost of the buffet was $28 "tax and gratuity included". When I got the bill the gratuity line was open. The waiter made sure to point out the gratuity line and looked puzzled when i told him what the hostess had said. Of course, keep in mind this was a buffet so we were getting our own food from the line. I left $5 since he poured us a cup of coffee. Overall, i would liked to have seen more than half a piece of toast and one poached egg on the toast for $22.00. However, notwithstanding the portion size, the avocado toast was excellent. I would recommend staffing issues and hostess responsibilities be addressed. I would probably eat there again if staying in the hotel. I can state i would not seek it out otherwise based upon value and service

We went for Christmas brunch 2023. We've been to the Fairmont Christmas brunch several times, but this year was disappointing. The menu was EXTREMELY limited and the food was just decent. Omelets are a staple at brunch. However, they didn't offer any omelets on the limited menu (What brunch doesn't have omelet?). The cut of beef they served for the prime rib was subpar. The French toast was good, however. We hadn't been since pre-covid, and I would presume others have been disappointed with Pyramid's Christmas brunch, as the restaurant was nearly empty (they used to have a good crowd). The saving grace was the service. Our servers, Elvira and Edith, were more than friendly and very attentive. Needless to say, we will not be back for Christmas brunch.

I had driven across town with the impression my reservation meant the actual restaurant would be open since it stated it was however when I arrived only the hotel bar was open and wasn't offering food. It's a shame but perhaps updating dining hours would help.

Ungodly overpriced drinks, in a mediocre atmosphere. Go somewhere else.

Atmosphere: 1

The food was very good. The atmosphere was nice as the had a soft guitar playing old standards in the background. If it was based on those two things I would be back for sure. However, the service was terrible. It was Mother's Day Bruch and we felt like we were being rushed out of there the entire time, which we found odd since we didn't have a particularly late seating time for brunch, and the restaurant's tables were mostly empty. The server was attentive enough, since there was nobody there, however she did things you don't expect at a restaurant at that price range, like bring our appetizer at the same time as our soup and salads then bringing our entrees literally 30 seconds after our soups. That's the sort of thing you may see at a cheap chain restaurant, but not when you're paying these kind of prices on a special occasion brunch. Then she dropped the check without asking if we wanted dessert, which we did. She was obviously trying to get rid of us, which was rude considering it was a special occasion. Also the table was a mess since she didn't bother to maintain it throughout the meal. We used valet the car because my Mom is on a cane and and my daughter has a sprained knee. Obviously we expected there to be a charge for valet, but they charged us $24 which is the day rate at the Fairmont, which the restaurant in, so heads up on that,

Food and drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is perfect for a nice meal, smoked old-fashioned and to enjoy the game on the massive 4K projector TV over the back of the bar. The best part is the staff it's like hanging out with friends.... but they actually can make cocktails lol

There was insufficient staff the two nights we dined there. One girl had to act as server and hostess in restaurant and bar. We witnessed numerous people stand at host podium for awhile and give up and leave. Long wait for food. Need more staff. Limited menu and not upscale.

Great restaurant. Seems to be understaffed. Our hostess and a server worked so hard as did everyone else. My only real criticism was the price to park. $23 to be there for 90 minutes is too steep.
