Local has been a Deep Ellum gem for 2 decades. Tracy is always hands on and is an amazing chef! Thank you Tracy for a beautiful 🌙.

Great food, and although we were one of only two tables in the whole restaurant the service was terrible. They did not bring out all the food at the same time, mixed foods, brought nuts even though we told them that we have a child that is allergic to nuts. We also have twins boys that had a bday we were celebrating, they only brought one cake and one candle. The other thing is the parking issue, we had to park at the lot next door and since it was more than 2 hrs it costs us over $48 for just parking! The restaurant did give us a $20 credit but we still ended up paying $28 out of our pocket for parking!!

We went early for dinner before attending a concert at Fair Park. Local has been there for decades, has a nice enough vibe and has had mention by at least one local food critic that it's deserving Michelin recognition. Literally half of the food our party of four ordered was grossly oversalted and inedible. The place was understaffed and we didn't see our waiter again in time to complain until he came to clear the table. Wouldn't have mattered anyway. When we told him about our experience, he shrugged and said he'd tell the chef. No offer of dessert or other adjustment of our bill. Not an inexpensive place either.

Best tasting menu I’ve ever had. Anniversary dinner for us and we like to do tasting menus. The wines paired well and the chef (and I think owner) came out to check on us so that was neat. Definitely a lady who had honed her craft.
Service was excellent. I judge a lot by being treated with respect and we were treated well the entire time.
Cost for the 9 course dinner was what I would expect and was worth it in my opinion to try so many dishes. The sea bass and tenderloin are up there with the best I’ve ever had.
Parking was easy at the lot right next to it.
We will return given the opportunity again.
A wonderful evening.

Some of the best food in the entire city. So well prepared and plated. Fine dining but not stuffy. I love this restaurant.

Visiting from Chicago and was greeted by Keiston and guided to our table. He was knowledgeable on the dishes and gave GREAT recommendations. This place was incredible, from the ambience, to presentation, to the food everything was perfect. Tracy the chef came out to say hello which was just the icing on top of an absolutely incredible dinner. Will 100% be back and I highly recommend!

We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing!
The food was great! Pretty traditional and a little on the salty side, but I like that!
It was a quiet night with only 3 other groups (of 2 or 3 people) there the whole two hours we were dining.
The server (Nathan) was very friendly, fast, and explained everything well.
We parked in the paid lot next door to the restaurant (it was $18), which was convenient! There were several street parking spots nearby, but they were all taken on a Friday night.

Hands down the best fine dining experience in Dallas. We've been celebrating all our special occasions here since Tracy opened her doors more than two decades ago.
One of the best spots in Dallas! Delicious! Do not miss out. Great for dates and celebrating. Hard to choose what to get. And so many amazing desserts. All so elevated. Female-owned/chef-owned and has been a staple for 20 years but feels like a brand new spot! They also validate parking in the lot connected to the restaurant so very easy parking! Please go visit!
Menu mainstays include the exceptional short rib and succulent chicken. Excellent fresh vegetables and fruits for starters.
