I got an iced latte with sugar free vanilla and sugar free caramel. Super yummy! I appreciated that they had SF syrups. The workers were very kind and you know the place is good when they’re playing Hozier :) Very cozy!

Ordered a large americano, and two large mocha lattes. Barista and cashier were pleasant and helpful. The coffee on the other hand, was bad. Americano (4 shots) tasted like hot water with burnt coffee added. Very weak, very bad taste, and the mocha lattes were so sweet, absolutely 0 zero coffee flavor. Such a disappointment! I drove out of my way to support this small business over the star, wish I could say it was awesome. 🤕

There is no shortage of coffee shops in Dallas and this is my favorite. The seasonal drinks are always winners, many of the flavors made in house. My favorites are the Butterbeer Latte, the Egg Nog Latte, the Grinch, banana matcha and the Sunny latte. Great selection of delicious pasties, go for the chocolate croissant or the poptart. Best breakfast tacos I have ever had, don't miss those. Great service from the folks working there too.

This has been my go to since arriving in Dallas six months ago. Nothing better than a cappuccino and a couple of Tacos. Unfortunately- they are no longer sourcing their tacos from Tacodeli, and the tacos they now have are inedible. So disappointed.

Aesthetics cute & small even had a prayer board. Coolers for a bunch of drinks. About 16-20 seatings! They have partners in their different styles of caffeine! From matcha to drip to espresso. I got the butterbeer latte (butterscotch and salted caramel) and white horse latte! We weren’t really recommended anything, just saw the menu of drinks - honestly super milky. No coffee taste at all. We drove about 30 minutes to visit. Wishing them the best!

GREAT study spot, amazing coffee selection, and very friendly staff! Prices were reasonable, and I loved their little miscellaneous boutique selection :) they also sell coffee beans if anyone is interested in that! It's a little hard to find(in some sort of gated shopping center) and seating isn't super abundant, but neither of those things took away from my experience :)

Please stop telling people this place is good, it’s really not. I’ve given Local Johnny’s more than enough chances. I’ve had lattes here around eight times, and more than half the time there was barely any flavor. Today was my last try.
I ordered “The Very Good Matcha,” which is described as having vanilla, lavender, extra matcha, and salted matcha cold foam, yet somehow it tasted like nothing. The measurements are clearly inconsistent because the flavors are always hit or miss, mostly miss.
I also ordered a chocolate croissant, and it was far from fresh. Even after being warmed up, it was tough to pull apart and just not enjoyable.
I ended up asking for a refund, and thankfully they did give me one.
Overall, extremely disappointing. I won’t be returning.
