Food was excellent! First night we had Queso and ate the Sampler Platter for the meal. Everything was well seasoned and very tasty! The salsa they bring is very mild but they bring a small bowl of heated salsa that is very spicy. That way you can mix it to your own taste. Service was good. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch and had combination fajitas. They were excellent as well. Definitely will return next time we need to travel to Ft. Worth.
First time here and certainly glad we went. David A A was our server and did a wonderful job taking card of the 10 of us. Quick to bring our chips and salsa and took our drink orders. Then explained some of the menu items and took our orders. Food came out fast and hot and giant portions. David made it a great experience for us. We all enjoyed our meals and waiter.
What a wonderful meal we had at this small restaurant in s strip center. The place was packed but the service was excellent and so was the food. I had the chicken taco salad which was the best I’ve ever had. It wasn’t stacked in layers like most taco salads. It was in sections spread out on a huge bowl lined with a giant tortilla bowl. And no onions anywhere. Yeehaw. I can’t eat onions so I have to be very careful when ordering in a Mexican restaurant. It was just delicious. The others with us had enchiladas and chili rellenos. Also excellent. And the prices were very reasonable. A great place.
After hearing accolades about this restaurant, we decided to go and check it out ourselves. It is quite the busy place around noontime on a Sunday, but the servers kept it all rolling with fast, efficient service. I had the taco salad, and it was full of beef, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese nearly to the top of the shell. My daughter had the fajitas, flavorful and loaded with toppings, especially guacamole. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait for a table, but for those who did, there are just two benches outside to sit on and no place to sit and wait indoors.
Hands down the absolute best mexican food in Ft Worth. All menu items are excellent. Service is fast and friendly. Come early, place is always busy.
We visited with Texan friends years ago and have now become regular visitors to this amazing family restaurant. Best margaritas great salsa and Guacamole. We are visiting from Australia and tell all our friends, if ever they are in this city..this restaurant is a definite place to visit. We are celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary, just a happy coincidence, it was not planned , hopefully on 5 May 2022.
i have IBS and i have to be careful of what I can it, this food looked disgusting to eat, i had to throw my order away, I had asked for no beans, and it was covered in it, my son's order was very spicey and even though I was assured it would not be spicey, I wasted $35.00. who ever put this together was in a hurry , will not return, will go back to Martha's restaurant or even Mercado Juarez restaurant in Ft. Worth. my rating for this place is low.
Delicious. Food was fresh, service was quick. Would definitely recommend. Nothing negative to say. Come eat and enjoy.
1st visit and food was amazing! Service was great and quick. Food and drink were delicious! Definitely going back!
Waited for over 10 mins for a waiter to come once seated. Order coffee and it never came until I had almost finished my meal. Waiter excuse was that coffee was being brewed. Really? Order one egg for my wife and he brought two. Very disappointed. Don’t recommend this place. Recommend Esperanza’s in Ft. Worth, much better service and food.

This Mexican restaurant in a strip mall seemed to be a very popular place. We had a short wait to get in. The staff mostly were wearing masks but most of the patrons were not. There was no social distancing either. We were able to get a booth a good way away from others. The salsa was very good. We both ordered the grilled quail. They could have used a little more seasoning, but with a squeeze of lime they were delicious. They have a full bar. I would recommend this restaurant.
I purchased the enchiladas dinner and all of my food was on the same plate. This wasn't a good ideas because it looking like dog food once I opened the box. Also the food was tasteless and bland. Will not be going back and the price was to expensive for my taste $17.00
My family loves this Mexican food! Great chips and salsa. Fast service. I recommend the Pollo a la Plancha with charro beans or the fajita salad.
Great service, amazing food!! A fun place to eat on any day! Authentic Mexican food. We had enchiladas and tacos. The tacos are huge!!
Los Molcajetes came highly recommended by a friend, a native Texan, who said this was her family's all time favorite Mexican restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed it very much! We were there around 4 p.m. on a Friday and the place was hopping even then. Our draft beers were large, very cold and only $3.50. It's a large restaurant in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I had a combination of beef enchilada and a beef and chicken taco served with refried beans and rice. It was a very large portion and all for under $15. The tacos were soft and all the meats were very good. The big bowl of appetizer chips came with a generous mild and tasty salsa and a smaller hot salsa, that my husband really liked. We had excellent service so no complaints whatsoever - we'll be back!
