Pretty much done with this place after 20 years. Pizza has gotten worse and service is awful.

This is the FUN place to dine for exceptional food and not just pizza. The atmosphere is a bit loud but it’s a dive! My food was perfect! The martini 🍸 excellent. Lip Smacking Good! 😊

Had to wait about 25 minutes on a Sunday, so plan ahead. The brick walls and dim lighting feels very Chicago. Add in all the Chicago sports memorabilia and you'd think you were back home. I ordered a medium with 4 toppings. Which was just enough for a hungry man appetite. The pizza was a great take on Chicago tavern style with a slightly thicker but light brick oven type pizza and a sweeter sauce. It was Very good. My only gripe is that my water glass was empty for long periods of time more than once but when I looked around, no one with a cocktail or beer had an empty glass. Still a good meal though.

Would give negative stars if I could. The heavy set waitress/hostess should get an attitude adjustment or get out of the service industry.

Good pizza

Our pizza was burnt. That's all we could taste. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Dark bar with zero people on restaurant side. Skip.

Pizza was good, but did not meet expectations. Thin crust, not NY style, but a very good crust. Good crunch, but was over cooked and too flaky/burnt. Sauce was a little too sweet for my liking and didn't seem to be more than out of a can. Cheese OK. That being said, it was still proobably one of the better crusts and pizza in the area. For the price I thought it was very light on toppings, which were very expensive to add and nothing of note. Did try just a cheese (thr basis for any good pizza place) and the pepperoni. Would I go out of my way again to try? No.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had anywhere in North America. The cocktails are very generous. If you don’t like service with an attitude, then don’t go here. They can back up the attitude with the AMAZING food.
I’ll be back!!
P.S The sign is on the ground from a storm, but they are open!!
