Food was good…but service..not so great…had food items worth $150 …had food on the plate…wanted to have a good time with a relaxed lunch..but were asked atleast 4-5 times at short intervals regularly whether we were done or not… not sure what was the hurry even when the restaurant was pretty much empty at the time.. was quite annoying.

What a delicious experience! Let’s start with cons, which aren’t that many. Hated the parking situation. That’s typical of Lovers Lane restaurants though. And the restaurant is overly crowded. I don’t know if it’s the spacing of the tables but there are too many customers in a confined space.

Now, onto the fun pros. The FOOD! And service! Everything we got was amazing: gumbo, salad, blackened fish, red beans and rice (sans rice). And the cute popcorn basket (instead of bread) was such a great southern touch. Our waitress was also so attentive and lovely. I wouldn’t mind coming back here next time I visit.

For the price tag of around $50 a person, the place lacks in atmosphere. The restaurant is overcrowded and cheaply decorated. They put us in a covered patio that had poor isolation from the winds in 40F weather. The gusts of wind were blowing the plastic curtains and a cheap tarp that was covering the roof. Without a heater it would simply be unbearable.
Parking lot is very small so their valet is the only way to park. Lovers’s valet is severely understaffed and unprofessional. The impression was that it was their first day in the job for those 2 parking attendant. We stood in a cold for at least 10 minutes waiting for them to shuffle 3 cars.

I must tell you that we had issues with our server. However, we were previously at this establishment, and we were served by Susan or Suzie. She was fantastic then and remembered us from 4 months ago. Susan explained to our server about my wife's garlic allergy and knew exactly what she ordered in October. Tonight, the server was subpar, and the manager Wellington Bugg interceded. Wellington was phenomenal. Thank you for a delicious Valentines Day dinner.

Dietary restrictions: Garlic allergy.

Location sucks, poor waiter service and the food is way overpriced for the small amount served and mediocre in flavor.

This restaurant is a must try for the seafood lover. I was pleasantly surprised at how good my food was. I started with the Wagyu Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage. I have tried Wagyu steak many places and I didn’t care for it. It is so bland, and I hate the texture. However, this sausage completely changed my mind. It is mild and the cheese inside really set it off! I could eat this sausage in a bun with french fries all day🤤. Next, I moved on to the Crispy Tempura Lobster Spoons. This didn’t knock my socks off. Enjoyable but just ok. Finally, for my last course I tried the Connecticut Style Lobster Roll. It knocked my socks off! Can you say addictive? LS&M knows how to make a Lobster Roll. The warm buttery bread with the tender lobster meat was worth every penny. The atmosphere gives preppy but not up tight. I love the little patio area. I really enjoyed my visit, and I can’t wait to go back!

Never got a chance to try it. They blocked the only spot that opened up with a valet sign. Thanks, but no thanks.

Great vibe both inside and on patio, had a great meal and excellent service. Valet parking is free plus cash tip (I didn’t see any other parking option). Would definitely come back for lunch or dinner!

I held a customer dinner for 18 people last night at Lovers Seafood and the knocked it out of the park! The food was perfection and the service was fast, on point and the attention to detail was unlike any other. The drinks came out very quickly and my customers were delighted.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Just left this place and the service is horrible. They definitely stereotype once you walk in. I didn’t get the servers name but not once did he check on the table. Not even the bare minimum service was received. Everything is also overpriced for the quality.

My God, this place is awesome. Our waiter was Catfish, That's his name. Super great service from him and the atmosphere was fantastic. They got a guy there playing live music on a guitar, and it contributed to the experience in an very awesome way. The food was very good. Highly recommend the gumbo. 5 stars all the way around. It was my first time in Texas and I'm glad I found this place. Highly recommend it.

First time here, lived everything about it. Service, drinks, food, and dessert were great. The smoked salmon was great. The patio was really nice as well. Would recommend making a reservation, we were able to be seated right away because of it. Our server was the best! Lover's will be added to our rotation!!! Highly recommend.
