There are much better bagels places out there in terms of service and in taste. I personally didn't like the sausage egg and cheese and took far too long to make it. Heard at least 3 'dings' before anyone even bothered to grab my sandwich. There was only one other person in there so it's not like they were slammed.

The bagels at Lubbies are top tier, some of the best in Dallas. Although it is on the expensive side. They switched their coffee beans recently though. The coffee used to be awesome but now it tastes like any bad generic coffee you find in most of Dallas.

Good lox sandwich on an everything bagel. $16 +tax/tip. Wait wasn’t bad. (They were out of everything bagels when I ordered, but a fresh batch was available within 5min.). Cream cheese was a little less than a true NY bagel sandwich, but still good. I ordered mine toasted and it was just right.

Small but not cozy. Usually packed to the gills with strollers on weekend mornings. Best to get your order to go.
Great coffee, but depends on who you get making it. The last time I was there they made an incredible Americano.

This is a hidden gem. I don’t often find a place that can serve tasty gluten free options. This place has a gluten free bagel (i know it sounds like an oxymoron) that is tasty.
I had the steal and eggs breakfast bagel sandwich. It was tasty with strips of skirt steak. Their cinnamon raisin bagel is also delicious.
In addition, they have a good coffee selection with cortados and such. The cortado is good.
There was a young gentleman working the cash register that seemed to be doing it all, barista work, putting together the bagels, taking care of online orders, et cetera.
There is a bit of a wait if you order it there. It seems like the trick to getting in and out is to do an online order.
All in all, this place is a new favourite.

(My only wish is they’d go back to counter culture. That was a big draw and I tried the new stuff today and I probably won’t order coffee there anymore. But will definitely go just for the bagels!)
