The menu has a short selection of antipasto, primi and second. However, everything we tasted during our first visit was excellent. The service is also superb. Cocktails menu is limited, but wine list is available.

Lucia makes we wish I was wealthy so I could go more often ! The food is incredible as is the service . Celebrating my birthday with 2 friends. Server gave excellent suggestions on what and how much to order and the perfect wine for our meal. We had the bread and butter, fabulous! Always order this delicious starter. It won't make it to the second course. I could go on and on but the menu is always changing. Promise to treat myself more often, and best to bring a few people, it's a great place to share plates!

Truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was phenomenal and the staff was extremely attentive. I highly recommend dining here. You won't be disappointed.Dietary restrictions: Accommodating to vegetarians.

Such a lovely first time experience! We sat at the bar with David and he was fantastic! This is the perfect date night spot and we can't wait to go back.

While the food (what we were served of our order) was probably 3-star fare, the service was haughty, hostile, inhospitable and unpleasant. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Parents and I had a great time! The food was delicious. It's not your standard italian restaurant either. There's a spin to the dishes. Unique experience I can see why the weekend gets booked out a month ahead of time

Food, service and ambiance was terrific - all great until the bill arrived. I have no issue with 20% tip automatically added but on a $305 tab don't charge me $3. For one additional pat of butter. Absurd.

I was in Dallas for the weekend and felt so lucky to be able to nab a dinner reservation. The restaurant is a little small, but very cozy inside. We sat at the bar. Our server was very informative and kind. As for the food, everything we got was delicious! The menu seems to change quite often, so A+ for creativity. - Chef's choice salumi: The meats are cured in-house. Stand out to me was the 'nduja and honeycomb on potato focaccia. Great portion size. - Six foie gras stuffed prunes: Smooth, rich, lil sweet, lil umami - Fettucine with cockles, sobrasada, green chili: This was amazing. Uber flavorful. Pasta was nicely al dente. - Lamb sirloin with spinach, ricotta, salsa verde: A good dish, but not as impactful as the previous ones. Overall, I would suggest paying special attention to the charcuterie board and pastas. Although the secondi dish was good, I wish I had tried two pastas instead.

This was the best meal I've had in Dallas in the year or so that I've lived here. Reservations book out quick. I can see why this restaurant is in such high demand. Nice ambiance, exceptional service, and such unique dishes. I'll take my parents here again.

Best Italian in Dallas. Specials were great, including the seasonal fish dish. Great cocktails and wine list. No espresso machine though for after dinner pick me up, otherwise couldn’t have had a better night out experience.

Lucia is my favorite restaurant in Dallas, consistently very creative dishes. The restaurant itself is very cozy and the servers are always informative. They change their menu quite a bit, so I've never had the same dishes here. Unfortunately, there was a visit where I didn't really like any of the dishes that much, but all of the other times I really enjoyed it.

Finally was able to snatch a reservation at Lucia. If you go into their system right at 9am they actually have a lot of openings. The ambiance was good, and the food was all great. I liked that it's not just "pasta and pizza". We sat at the bar and it was perfect for two people but if you're wanting to go as a group, definitely recommend getting a table. Our server was very attentive and knowledge and gave a very thorough explanation through the menu which was very helpful for us to decide what to get. I heard they change their menu seasonally so I wish to definitely go back to try new dishes.

They did it again with even better duck and incredibly helpful and charming service. Did a salad to start, ravioli next, and then duck with morels. Olive oil cake for dessert. Was a lovely dinner.

My husband and I have been hearing about Lucia for years, so we were very excited to finally nab a reservation for our anniversary this month. Our very first date was actually at Macellaio, run by the same folks but sadly now closed. The former location is where Lucia is now located and we sat just a table away from where we had our first date, which was a really nice touch :) We began with some complementary olives and a couple of drinks; I really enjoyed the Earl Grey cocktail that I chose. Definitely recommend that if it's on the menu for any grapefruit lovers and people who enjoy sweeter cocktails. Then we dove right into the antipasti section of the menu. As longtime charcuterie lovers of course we had to get the chef's selection of salumi, and we enjoyed it very much! Portions were very generous so our server helpfully packed about half of it away for us to enjoy the next day, but our standout favorites were the honey nduja on grilled potato focaccia, as well as the capicola, coppa, and rabbit terrine. It's all cured in house and the flavors were excellent. Our other apps were also great. Adored the flavors and textures of the wagyu tongue crostone, highly enjoyed the octopus and fava bean dish, and the sourdough with house cultured butter was simple but delicious. 2/3rds of that hunk of sourdough also went home with us at the end of the night. Our primis were the chicken and ricotta pansotti and the tonarelli, which was probably our favorite dish of the night. The pansotti was delicious but the sauce was just a tad on the saltier side, but the tonarelli was in this wonderfully bright sauce that also came with pistachios for a lovely crunch. Honestly such a well-balanced dish and I highly recommend it if it's on the menu. We ended with an extremely spring season dish, the tilefish with vegetables in a seafood broth. It was such a unique preparation of fish that we'd never tried before but it was so good! My only regret is not having room for any of the desserts, which I hear are also phenomenal. Guess that's just a reason to come back the next tie we're able to grab a reservation!
