The food is delicious, only the tortillas are a little cold and the person who serves seemed to be in a bad mood, which is why she treated me kind of annoyed.
My son wanted to get me out of the house a couple of weeks ago and it just happened to be on a Thursday - more about that in a minute. It is an unassuming place on the corner of St. Augustine and Lake June. The tacos are so good - fresh, home-made and great prices! So back to the Thursday bit. On Thursdays tacos are only $1 AND they serve great little margs, perfect for sipping while you're checking out the vendors out front. The DJ spins some great music, changes genres so you don't get bored. It's a small group, but fun and great for the family (can we say flavored ice, crepes, ice cream and cute gifts?). Back to the tacos - I ordered a mix of meat & chicken, carnitas and just chicken. So good!! The onions, cilantro, salsa & tomatoes are served in little baggies, perfect if you're taking them home. The service is great, also. The woman behind the counter is friendly and helpful, doesn't rush anyone and she hands you your number on a stand with a smile. The platters are delivered to your table by another friendly, smiling face. I had a great time!

Birria tacos are a joke, they are sooo small(looks like we ordered from Schein lol)! I have never seen tacos that small, I wonder where they get those tortillas lol! There was not enough salsa either! Worse $74 I have ever spent!

First time eating there. Taco Thursday was in FULL effect. Live dj and a couple vendors with Michelada mix, bacon wrapped hotdogs, crepes, aguas, raspas, hats, jewelry, candied fruits, and other miscellaneous goods (this was all outside, before even walking in the door). Inside was a very laid-back environment. List of all the tacos they sell for a $1 was right in front, next to the cashier. Full menu board was very detailed. Love how they don't ASSUME you want cilantro and cebolla on the tacos, automatically, like most places. They serve the tacos, with condiments separate, in their own little baggie, so as not to violate the tacos. They had a nice assortment of drinks in the cooler, and two slushy machines going (one strawberry, the other lemon). Would DEFINITELY recommend and will be back!

Lucky's Tacos provided a catered lunch to my school for Teacher Appreciation Week. They were the best tacos I've had in a long time. The people cooking the food were so friendly and accommodating. I hadn't heard of this restaurant before, but I can't wait to go and eat there soon.

Every time I passed in front of this place, its appearance caught my attention and now I took the time to visit it... The place is very welcoming and has a very Mexican air and the food is very delicious... I only tried the quesabirrias but they have dishes that caught my attention, I will most likely return... The plus is the kindness of the lady who took the orders.
