Even though they were about to close; my mom and I got a great plate of food with excellent Customer Service! The food was tasteful and good for the soul. I’m happy with everything I experienced. We’ll be back!!!

First time visit and they were on point. Family outing and we all had something different. The food was good with leftovers. The atmosphere was different but we were the only ones dinning in. Will go back.

I came here a year ago when I first moved to Dallas and the food was amazing. I stopped in today and found that they had a new name but luckily its still the same great food. I've eaten at every supposed soul fool place in the area and this is the only one that fries my pork chop just like granny did; no shake and bake with the breading falling off like every place else. Thank you mama!!

This place is a gem just waiting to be discovered. Although we know that they have a faithful following by satisfied returning customers back for another plate of this home cooked meal in an atmosphere that welcomes those looking for a more mature place with exceptional food and friendly service. A family restaurant in the day doubling up as a sports bar at night giving, "Mo's", being a place I could not pass up on, finding those hidden gems such as this, family owned and operated, restaurant to replace those daily trips to a local fast food restaurant for the same thing as yesterday. Without having to reach deep in your pockets , the prices are fair considering the amount of food it yields. I say check them out today and say that Mike sent you. They will take good care of you. This will be my new Chicken and Waffles place. Happy Eating my friends and happy holidays.

10 stars for this place. First time customer and definitely returning tomorrow. I had the link basket. I’m normally big on bread, big on bread, but the links were so good I barely touched the bread. The best part was my 7 year old said he’ll never go to McDonald’s again? I’ve never managed to get him to eat a burger from anywhere but McDonald’s. He smashed all he could of the burger and delicious fries ?said the best food he’s eating in his life. SAY WHAT can barely wait to take him Sunday , to try out the soul food ?

This is the rudest establishment I’ve ever delivered for. I delivered a few items from a grocery store to their establishment! I noticed a few hours later they removed their entire tip! I called inquiring why and if anything was wrong with the order and she started blaming me for a customer tripping over the items!! I made sure everything was out of the walkway and everything. I feel as though she just made that up to avoid tipping. I feel as though anybody working in an service industry (like themselves) should know tips are what we feed our family with. So unacceptable and disappointing.
