I was very impressed with the ambiance and quality of the food at Maison Chinois. It’s been close to 9 months since we have been back and we were very impressed with everything! The food and cocktails were delicious. Call outs include the chilli wontons, lamb shoulder entree, and the chow mein main. We will definitely be coming back!

This is my second time here and I am always impressed. The food is always amazing. If you bring friends you should try the duck! Today I had the spicy general tsao chicken and it was perfect.
You must ask to back to the hidden bar afterwards. Live music! Great food there too. Really nice.

Food is just okay, above average but price is a bit high for the quality. It is better than 99 ramch but not 3x better from price standpoint. As an Asian, I will not return. This is a place more for SAs.

We went during shift change and sat towards the back. At first it took awhile for someone to come and take our order and there was a bit of miscommunication but the GM came over and made everything better. Cooper did a great job taking our order, and Billy did and amazing job giving us exceptional customer service and taking over.

The food was truly excellent, but unfortunately, the service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We came to celebrate a birthday, and while the staff asked us three separate times if we were celebrating anything, nothing came of it. If the restaurant doesn’t acknowledge special occasions, that’s completely fine—but then it seems unnecessary (and a bit frustrating) to ask repeatedly, especially after seeing other reviews mention birthday celebrations being acknowledged by staff. The manager said he’d stop by to check in, but never did. Again, not a big issue—just disappointing when something is promised and not followed through on.
We were seated outside, tightly packed next to five other tables, even though the indoor area and much of the patio were visibly empty. It created a cramped, uncomfortable atmosphere, with servers constantly bumping chairs and little sense of personal space.
When we asked for menu recommendations, our server simply said “everything,” without elaboration. It felt rushed and impersonal—more like being processed than hosted.
The food really was a highlight, but the overall experience made it hard to enjoy fully.

Having a huge party with a guarantee of 18% tip, does not mean you should provide terrible service. Multiple wrong drink orders, my own meal was wrong and was delivered 10 minutes after everybody else started eating. Promising to give a champagne toast and never delivering. The bright spot is the food quality.

Waited 30 minutes for a beverage and it never even came when only 20% of tables were full. The service was incredibly awful. I saw our waiter once within the span of 45 minutes waiting. Within that time we only had the opportunity to order drinks and that’s it. One of the worst service establishments I have ever witnessed.
