Peking duck was the best duck we've had ever hands-down. Seabass and lamb was wonderful, appetizers extremely tasty. They bring the food out as “it is ready“ and my family likes to “share“ so we can taste everything when it's the first time we ever go to a restaurant. So much time passed that when the duck showed up we were about 98% full. It definitely was worth the wait but we were effectively done with our dinner by the time it came. It was so good. We still consumed almost all of it! Next time we'll put in the order the minute we sit down. Great people watching, loved the fashion... Not overcrowded. Cool speakeasy in the back!

Very pretty place. Service excellent, including the valet parking. Interesting menu. Dumplings done artistically and taste was excellent. Both the beef dish and shrimp dish had a similar chili taste although the sauces were different - the chili overwhelmed the sauces. The noodle dish with yellow curry had an odd taste and not appealing. Very, very expensive.

Nice design, but the food was worse quality than a Chinese restaurant that costs a fraction of the price. Meat quality was mediocre, vegitables not fresh, taste was poor. Service was super slow. I was hoping to be wowed but came away very disapointed.

We had a wonderful dinner for 6. We ordered lots of plates and shared, so we could taste lots of choices from the menu. The duck was a big hit. I personally could have made a whole meal of the wagyu potstickers.

Everyone who is rating this place lower than a 4 1/2 star restaurant is out of their minds. I took my husband here for his 39th birthday expecting this place to be about 3 1/2 star place because of the reviews. This place is way above that. It should be a five star restaurant in Dallas. The vibe the music, the service was amazing not to mention the incredible food which we couldn't get enough of and we kept ordering dishes because that's how impressive it was. The dessert is also very very good and the bartender is probably one of the best in Dallas if you're looking for a sexy vibe spot to go to that has amazing high-end Chinese food with good music good drinks good service definitely go here, also check out the speakeasy next-door. It's probably one of the best in the city and has live music. Tip: make sure you are dressed for the speakeasy or they won't let you in! Ciao.

Love the appetizers, drinks and the over all vibe! The service was amazing and one of the best experiences. The entrees were not so flavorful but I think it might have been because I had such high expectations after the appetizers. Would definitely go again for intimate dinner or catching up with friends.

Delicious, innovative food- in a beautiful setting - best part though was the tremendous service! Travis was responsive and knowledgeable and so personable and engaging! Will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed finding high-end Chinese in Dallas. We ordered something from almost every category and everyone was pleased. This place is still evolving, and the assistant manager Lindsay is devoted to making your experience memorable.

We had a nice bottle of cab and started with tempura green beans, spring rolls and dumplings. Then we had General Tao's chicken and sautéed prawns and combination fried rice. All was very good. Our server was pleasant , but didnt see very experienced and maybe hard too many tables .

Looks like I've found it. The starters and appetizers are terrific. In fact, they are across the board better than the entrees. Don't be afraid to seek advice from your server. My favorites: soup dumpling, shrimp stuffed eggplant (#1) and sliced barbecue pork (char sui).

First time at Maison Chinoise - everything from appetizers through desert was fabulous :-) The crab wonton are a totally different take on the standard pork wonton but truly delicious.... the Kung pao chicken was perfection, and the wine list was superb. Will definitely be back - marvelous dining experience :-)

Overrated, over salted, overpriced. I am shocked the stir fried lamb shank was >50% fat. Unfortunately, bite size pieces have to be spit out when you chew and then realize that it is mostly fat and not meat. I am also surprised that with 3 main dishes, there was no rice included.

First off, the food was really amazing, creative and delicious. The prices were relatively manageable. I will say that the songs they played were kind of cheesy and really dated (ie. Shape of you). Our server Will was really nice! Super funny and sweet, and helped us assemble our soup dumplings. The only real complaints are 1. The tables were really close together, so it was awkward because we were all listening to each other's conversations. Also, If the server wanted to squeeze between the tables, their butts would be in our face and touching our table. 2. There was an entire empty parking lot, but the restaurant had put cones in the spots so you were forced to use the valet.

After loving our first time at Maison Chinoise last month, we returned last night for a disappointing dinner. Food was much more like a greasy-spoon Chinese corner store than it was a high end culinary experience. $28 for Kung Pao Chicken is too much for it to be mediocre and oversauced. We sought fresh ingredients, inventive preparation and cool ambience. On this trip, we received only the see-and-be-seen cool ambience.
