Came today for lunch. Much better overall experience here than Norma's. Smelled really nice, wait time wasn't long even for a busy Sunday, food good and fresh. The entire staff were rock stars. Shout out to the couple who surprised us by paying for our meal. We wished we could have thanked you in person. I will follow ur lead and pay it forward as well. Stay blessed.

Small, family feel. Be prepared, it’s crowded! Which, is a great thing. It just means the food is that much better!! This was our second visit. Always a good experience. Price is reasonable and we had leftovers for the two of us. We never had an empty glass or an empty plate. The staff were fast and friendly and patient. I did add this to my favorites list when I visit DFW.

I came in with a group and was told the wait would be about 20 mins. We put our name down and waited. After 20 minutes we go inside to find out they gave our table away and now we have to wait 30 or 40 more minutes. Why even have a waiting list when your not going to use it, very unprofessional! We ended up just leaving.

The original location is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. I have never been to the other restaurants. The food is excellent and the service is legendary for being great.
Delicious hot (and a lot) of food. I got the mamas granddaughters plate which came with my choices of potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage links and eggs and they were all really delicious. Cute (extreme) diner atmosphere which I loved.
