Excellent food. Everything was really tasty. We got one of the tastings and everything was delicious. Logan was very helpful helping us first timers navigate the menu and providing tips for the best cooking time!

I came here at 6pm with excitement because it was my first time seeing well-designed yakiniku restaurant in dfw area. It was not busy at all when I got there but the service was really slow and seemed like nobody cares. NO ONE greeted us for 5 minutes although there was a waitress seating on the bar talking to the bartender right in front of us. She saw us but pretended like ignoring us.After 5 minutes, we could finally have a seat but no one came to our table for 10 minutes to take the order. Again, it was not busy at all with only three tables at that time.We ordered our food and the foods came out but no one turned our grill on so we could not cook or eat our foods for another 5 minutes.I had to raise my hand to get the grill on because no one came to our table to check. The coke I ordered tasted weird so I asked to get another one just in case they brought me a wrong drink but the second coke tasted thesame, not fizzy at all and tasted like dr.pepper.The hand soap in the restroom was running out for both women’s and men’s restroom.Overall, restaurant doesn’t seem like its under a good management. Nice quality of foods but everything else ruins. Slow and neglectful service I’ve ever had..

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening around 5:30 pm. It was not busy maybe 2 other parties in the restaurant. We got seated, got water right away but when we ordered drinks, it took our waitress asking us at least 4 times what we ordered because she kept forgetting. When she finally got our drink order down, she brought the drinks, spilling them everywhere as she walked. The food was delicious but again, took forever to come out. Our waitress kept asking us what we had ordered because she kept forgetting, an appetizer took 30 minutes to come out. I don’t know what was wrong with our waitress, maybe just having a bad day but the service was absolutely horrific and for this reason we will not come back nor recommend to anyone.

The food was delicious but prepare yourself for a long meal because service was SO slow. We kept asking for things to come out sooner - especially the raw meat which shouldn’t take much time to plate - but the slow service resulted in us missing our second plans for the night. They struggled to keep up, which seems weird for a restaurant where the customers cook half the food.

There is a new menu and new management at this location. The front desk that greets you is filthy and disorganized, patio is depressing, the service is absent because they’re too busy texting in their phones, and the menu selection is no longer diverse! I used to love eating here but I have vowed to never return!!

Having to post my review from Yelp since it mysteriously does not show up there! I suspect this company has paid off the site to remove bad reviews.Came back again expecting the same great atmosphere and I was sorely disappointed. Service quality has drastically declined, it felt like we were being completely neglected even though it wasn't busy. Our server was more preoccupied with vaping outside. (We also overheard two other employees in a booth talking about how a table with an African-American couple probably wasn't going to tip one of them and therefore were barely worth the effort. Absolutely despicable.)As for the restaurant itself, it seemed nothing there is regularly cleaned the way it used to be. The restroom didn't have soap or toilet paper and it smelled like sewage. The menus were covered in food/sauce and wrinkled. The aesthetic of the outside area has also deteriorated immensely. The food quality is still good, albeit extremely salty. Though the rest of the disappointing ambiance and low level of service put a damper on what would have otherwise been considered a decent meal. Considering the hygiene level of the restaurant, I do have concerns about the food preparation. It seems the way the tastings are set up have also been changed for the worse. They don't allow any alterations to the omakase, even if you have an allergy. This decision change from how it was just a few months ago makes no sense to my wife and I.Overall, this place we once considered a gem on the corner of Greenville is now a hollow shell of what it once was. There is not a shred of authenticity left, no matter how much they try to pretend there is. We were specifically asked to leave a good review despite our obvious displeasure, which seemed a desperate move. We will not EVER be returning, and I plan to tell anyone I've recommended this place to not to go anymore.

The food was excellent. I wish they pan fried the gyoza so it had some chew. I ate around the mushrooms in the fried rice but ended up burning them on the grill and eating them while the other 3 in my party had vanilla sorbet.Group of 4 did 1 Tokyo style, 1 prime, 1 wagyu and the sausage and pork belly for the grill. With soup, apps, and sides - you'll be full but not fat and happy. Our service wasn't 100%. Would honestly just like someone to pluck the plates and empty glasses off the table since there are quite few coming fairly quickly once the order is placed.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Hitting all the key points: Drinks: they have a great patio and bar. I'm not sure why it isn't packed 24/7 if I'm honest. The prices are good and they have some really tasty cocktails (try the raspberry lychee martini - my husband quickly downed two). They don't short you on the alcohol either. Food: the beef is next level. I've literally had fresh-on-the-ranch beef and this is that level. The lowest grade that they serve is prime (which is the highest grade in the US). They get A5 flown in from Japan, which is really hard to get (I didn't even think Japan allowed export of A5). It comes with a certificate and all. We also had chicken and shrimp (both also imported from Japan) and it's all delicious. The difference in quality is actually perceptible. As a random other high note: the fried rice. It's not just your run-of-the-mill fried rice. They make it at the table and the garlic gives it some extra oomph. We did the prix fixe of the $75 menu and added an order of A5. They portions were generous and we were very full (and took food home) Dessert: we had the yogurt. It was good, but I was honestly too full to eat it all. Service: the staff were really lovely and the manager came out and spoke with us and answered a lot of my questions. We will definitely be back.
