The food was ok the service was amazing as well. The food for example the tacos were good. The beans and rice were sooooo mid. The rice had no flavor and the beans were just beans. The margaritas were just not good. So to the person on previous review who said the margaritas were really good was a really good lie. Also all the margaritas are on the rocks and if your mix isn't great which theirs were not then it's gonna be a very basic drink.
The food was delicious. It’s refreshing going to a “Mexican grill” restaurant in Texas, looking at the menu and not seeing “Chimichangas” on there. I had the “tacos ahogados” and the “Carne en su jugo”. As soon as I tried them both, it was like the scene from ratatouille, when the food critic is instantly transported back in time and remembering his mother’s home cooked meal. I will definitely be back to visit, when I’m in the DFW area.
Finally made it to this spot to try their famous tacos ahogados and quesabirria tacos — and wow, they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The space is bright, clean, and welcoming, with colorful luchador masks adding a fun, unique vibe to the atmosphere.
