The food was incredible and the service is top notch. It is dimly lit which sets a nice ambiance but makes it a little difficult to see the menu. However, no matter what you order you can't go wrong. I recommend the Dr. Pepper ribs or the Thai duck wings.

They took off all the dinner food option that I could consume(couscous, fish and chips, etc) but the service and ambience is unmatched!

The atmosphere was top notch! I got to sit looking up at the king and enjoy my sea bass and great conversation. It does get a little louder as they get busy, but that doesn’t take away from the experience.

The restaurant ambiance is not bad and our server was very attentive to a large group. This is the only thing that earned three stars. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I had the berkshire pork chop which was so heavily salted as to be nearly inedible. The same was true for the collard greens it came with. I left a plate full of food and went home hungry. I am disappointed.

Loved the collards!Vegetarian options: Veggies to appeal to a wide range of tastes. Take the sumptuous collard greens or the fried broccolini. They got you covered.

Went for date night. We started out with the hungry farmer that was the best thing we had there. My wife had the bone marrow, a steak w/mushroom sauce and mushrooms. The steak was well done on the outside and rare on the inside she asked for medium rare. The mushrooms were extra slimy to where she couldn’t eat them. I had the chicken it was okay slightly dry and the sauce was pretty overpowering. It was after the dinner we had problems. Both had some meddlesome gastrointestinal issues. We went to a place to pickup something for dessert. My wife narrowly missed having an accident and rushed to the restroom. My wife’s GI issues progressed to the point she was passing gas for about 8 hours straight after we got home from her stomach being upset.I ended up half the night myself in the bathroom.I don’t believe we will be returning.

Great spot! Funky/cool environment with great craft cocktail options. Both the food and service were incredible. Highly recommend this place if you like casual environments with elevated food and drinks

It’s hard to believe I’ve been going to the Moth for over a decade, but they just celebrated their 14th anniversary! Only the best places can last that long, so I think that number speaks for itself. It’s great for a friendly lunch or a large party at night. Check it out.

Disastrous and not worth your time. If you want a nice lunch or dinner with good service then go somewhere else. Taco Bell would have been better! We drove from the Fort Worth area today to give this place a shot but ended up leaving empty handed. When we arrived the two hostesses were chatting and it felt like we were bothering them by just trying to get a table. Once we were finally sat outside on what's honestly a nice patio that we were really looking forward to enjoying that was the end of our experience. We proceeded to sit there for almost 30 minutes while we were not greeted, acknowledged, or even given water all the while multiple other tables were brought food, their check, drinks etc. there were multiple waiters we were trying to get attention from but despite being barely half full we were never once, the whole time, able to get any service. The last straw was a new table being sat after us getting drinks while we still had not even had the time of day from anyone. So instead of risking a problem by requesting service inside we decided to leave and while the manager was sympathetic as we left it was too little too late.

I unfortunately arrived at the end of brunch and the hour transition to dinner. My server was a bit frantic even though there were only 3 other tables occupied. The bad ass bacon waffles were mediocre at best. The bacon was cold, the "fondue" sauce was cold and coagulated- gross and inedible, But the waffle was fresh. I would pass on his for the high price of $18. And yes, they charged me for the nasty waffle!!I DO NOT recommend brunch for here! I ordered a drink that never came. She transferred me to the next shift, who was 10 times better. At least he was attentive and wanted to do his job. So I ordered the fish and chips. At least this came out hot and crisp, but got soggy really quickly. The fish portion was a big disappointment compared to other places in Dallas that offer fish and chips. I don't know what the deal with the ice cold weird "pea" relish served in the side. Including Long John Silvers. A friend and I have been on a hunt for the best in town. This is a PASS. Head to the old Monk for amazing fish and chips and way better service. This place has a nice moody atmosphere and seems like a nice place to stop for a cocktail with friends, but I'd leave it at that. Go elsewhere to eat for sure.

Met there for happy hour drinks and client meeting. They have a variety of beer selections and great bartenders. Only had chips and guac so I can’t say if they are five. But it seemed really pleasant.

The food here is absolutely amazing. The automosphere is great for happy hour or even a date night. My biggest complaint is the portion sizes are rather small. Everything is served family style, and you are going to spend a lot to feed a family. Aside from that, it's an amazing place.

The Meddlesome Moth was the highlight of our visit to Dallas for the Eclipse. The roster of 40 draft beers curated by John behind the bar, was impressive and made it difficult to choose especially at Happy Hour. However, John's knowledge and enthusiasm helped guide us to some great choices. He was personable, engaging and fun to talk with. Ryan, the GM was also a treat and shared several food recommendations , including the tasty Rodeo Goat, for our stay. We can't say enough about both of them for their Texas hospitality. We didn't eat there but the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We'd plan a long layover just to travel from DFW for a couple of hours at the Moth.
