The food is delicious. I had the striped bass meunière, and the leek tart to start, and loved them both. My friends loved their dishes too. Great job and thank you for being so accommodating about the number of guests and changes we made.
Music was loud and staticy when we walked in. While they removed the static it was still louder than the ambiance required. Food was fine. Not what I expected from previous visits. Server couldn't hear us. Still a lovely looking little location but a little disappointed.
Fabulous service, wonderful food and amazing ambiance. For a lovely dinner out with dear friends, this is the perfect spot.
One of the best restaurants in the DFW area. Consistently high performing and good value for the money.
delish, super cute and cozy, great service, we'll be back! the ricotta was amaaaazing, and the crepes. the quiche and the omelette as well. great espresso martini!
Lovely brunch! Delightful seevice. Too loud in garden room across the way. Will request a QUIET table next time. Thanks!!
One of my favorite French restaurants in the city! Gracious staff, devine food, and the atmosphere of a French bistro... yes please!
Great "Frenchy" brunch, and also have had great dinner experiences here. Recommend this place highly, Parking is always a question.
The entire staff — and especially Lace — are so attentive. From the moment you're seated, you feel genuinely cared for in a way that sets the tone for an exceptional experience. I tried the Michelin-level tasting menu, and it was nothing short of incredible. Every course was beautifully crafted, balanced, and packed with flavor — a thoughtful progression that carried a festive spirit perfect for the season. Between the exceptional service and unforgettable dishes, this continus to be one of my favorite dining experiences. Shhh. Gatekeep this place. Don't tell people about it. Just quietly know it's great.
This is such a gem of restaurant. It’s a little taste of France in Dallas. Our bartender Todd made our night. His drinks were great and his friendliness and service were the highlight of the night!!

It's hard to find a restaurant of this caliber open on a Monday evening, but Mercat Bistro was! Even though valet parking wasn't available on a Monday, finding a spot was easy. We were greeted by the maitre d who immediately congratulated us on our anniversary. Even though we booked an inside table, we were given the choice of three different dining areas. We chose the outside patio, and it was MAGICAL! Our waitress was bright, attentive, and professional. We were treated to two glasses of champagne to toast our relationship, then it was time to eat: LEEK & GRUYÈRE TART HWD SHORT RIB BOURGUIGNON x2 BRUSSELS SPROUTS ROASTED CAULIFLOWER PROFITEROLES CRÈME BRÛLÉE Everything we ate was uncomplicated and exceptional. Thank you, Mercat Bistro, for a beautiful evening!
The french dip was amazing 🤌

The food here is outstanding. And for the quality and ambiance the prices are fair. Somehow I expected to pay more for a restaurant mentioned in the Michelin guide. When the weather is nice, it is wonderful to sit outside or in the gazebo.
Service was slow. We ordered our steak medium with a pink center. The steak we received was well done, but we were hungry and didn't want to wait for another meal. The cauliflower was good, and the frites delicious.
Mercat Bistro feels like a Parisian corner café with Dallas polish. I had the croque madame for brunch and a chocolate mousse for dessert. Both were excellent—simple, elegant, and executed with finesse. Service was brisk but friendly, and the ambience charming and relaxed. Perfect for brunch or a quiet lunch date.
