Amazing first time impression, Food was phenomenal, Service excellent,ambiance was perfect for our date night

My husband and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day meal. The service was wonderful. The food was great. The ambience was romantic. Will definitely be back.

Booked the valentine's day experience and while the course was generous, we were left underwhelmed. Some highlights included the cornbread (which offered foie gras as an add on rather that included as it typically would be) and the ragu with bone marrow. Most courses were a miss unfortunately, such as the tuna crudo, the main (dover sole), and the lemon dessert. I felt this coursing lacked cohesiveness and some flavors and textures were lacking in order to make this a harmonious experience. This did not make a lasting impact so I do not feel we would return despite our initial anticipation.

Ambiance is spectacular. Staff is welcoming, energetic, helpful, and knowledgeable. Service provided from water, to table-side, to attentiveness was excellent. Pre-fixed Valentine's menu showed creativity and promise but didn't meet expectations. The price point for this menu should've delivered on every item, but the only item that stood out was the bread. Only one of the two main courses to choose from was barely worth choosing. The other was mediocre and the quality was so disappointing for the price point. We could've had an ala carte 4 course menu at a more widely-known fine dining restaurant and spent just as much but for significantly better quality meat and portion size. Cocktails were also disappointing. Again, the menu showed creativity and promise, but final product was just not good. I understand the push and need for standing out and bringing that Michelin-star feel, but too much without balance is just overbearing. And smacking a high-end price point only adds the expectation for delivering excellence. Instead, that price point set this place up for failure. I want to emphasize that the idea, effort, creativity, passion, and enthusiasm to make this restaurant stand out as a respectable, unique and unforgettable experience is there!!! But setting that price point without delivering on the simplicity of delicious food and drinks is just expensive fluff. The disappointment in food and drinks was salvaged by creativity, ambiance, and kind, hardworking staff. Unfortunately, from someone that loves to indulge when dining out, this was just a one-time experience.

Friendly staff and welcoming environment. The cocktails were way too sweet (we tried two different ones). The steak was amazing and service was great. The music didn't seem to fit the atmosphere.

The food was great but the service was not as good as it should be for this level of restaurant. The portion size for pasta is also a bit of a joke.

My first visit to Meridian 2.0 and I was blown away! After first being disappointed that I would have to sit in the bar area, since I was dining alone, they made an exception and found a table in the main dining room. After that they made sure that I was very well taken care of. The restaurant is beautiful and all service people were great, from hostess Sammy, bartender Johnny who thoroughly explained the menu to me before I was seated in the main dining room, to GM Steve, who found me a table, to Doug and Fernando who were my principal servers. Doug was very patient with all my questions and guided me perfectly in what to order. Everything was delicious. Started with a couple of “one-hitters” the Kohlrabi Pie Tee and the Chilled Smoked Clams. Amazingly flavorful single bites to start my meal. Then the Foie & Seater Island Cornbread with Cavier that I had seen in multiple photos. It was so much better than I expected. Then the Duck Breast with Roasted Cabbage, which was the best duck I have ever eaten. Then the Hokkaido Scallop Cestini Pasta with Parmesan Froth and Winter Trufgke. Absolutely amazing! I discretely lifted the bowl up to drink the Froth, it was so good and I was going to enjoy every drop! I finished with the S'Mores for a perfect meal. Met Chef Eduardo Osorio on my way out and expressed how impressed I was with everything! Cannot wait to return. Hope to sit at the Chef's Table soon.

Great food... Sexy ambiance. I took my wife there for her birthday. The pictures online don't do this place justice. Everything was was high quality even the bathrooms.

Everything was great! Robert was our waiter at the Chefs table and the food, service from the entire staff, and ambience was excellent! Definitely my husbands new favorite restaurant. The lamb belly, cornbread, and fried chicken were amazing!

The service was outstanding. We have a young family with toddlers and they were very accommodating.

Meridian is a great place to go for an upscale dinner. Their wood fire menu is really lovely when it's cold outside and you are looking for a warm, hearty meal. Would recommend

We were delighted to see Meridian reopen, and our visit did not disappoint. The food and service were truly outstanding. Although we were initially hesitant about the revised concept and menu, every dish we tried was exceptional. The winter greens salad, prawn toast, lamb bolognese, and duck were all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The only drawback was that the duck portion felt a bit small compared to the other plates. Additionally, while the wine list is well-curated, it lacks the depth and intrigue of the previous selection. We would love to see a broader and more diverse range of Old World wines return to the menu to complement the excellent cuisine. Overall, Meridian has re-emerged with remarkable food and service, and we look forward to returning soon.

The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is great. The food is just PERFECT!!! I took a friend for her birthday and she and another friend were sooooo happy from start to finish!
