The chocolate croissant is very delicious, freshly made. You can tell in the quality. The berry Matcha latte was actually just Perfect. Not too sweet. We’re not to playing.

45 min wait for a drink.

Rosie always greets me with a smile on her face and by name! She single-handedly has made me completely swap from my other coffee place and has made me a better person. We’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I will miss her so much when she gets reunited with her husband! I recommend visiting just for a chance to meet such a sweet soul.

I hate to write a negative review about this place because I’ve loved Merit for years, but if I’m going to pay over $6 for a matcha latte (before tip!) I expect it to be made “correctly”. That does not mean putting matcha powder in a blender with water to make your concentrate and then storing it in a plastic squeeze bottle 🤮 Can we all say “BPA” together? It means whisking the matcha together for each drink, truly making a handcrafted matcha. That’s what I’m paying for, after all. I can easily do the blender trick at home in my own fridge. What’s even more shocking about this is I was literally the only customer in the store when I ordered this drink. There was no need to try to save 30 seconds. It was literally pure laziness. Merit, you’ve downgraded yourself to offering the fast food of matcha lattes. So disappointed in you.

Merit Coffee: MATCHA REVIEW

For my matcha lovers out there Merit offers a refreshing and smooth matcha.
I ordered an iced matcha latte with whole milk, and I really appreciate that their matcha is not pre-sweetened. It did have interesting after flavor that was not like any matcha I’ve had before. They used actual power though so there was some separation within my matcha and it didn’t seem to be all dissolved. They use ice nuggets too which melt a lot quicker than larger cubes. So on a hot Texas day my matcha gets watered down a lot faster.
The staff was friendly and the space itself was lovely. I’d definitely come back to try their other drinks.

We will definitely return. We were met with a smile and greeting, which is always a bonus on what should be the norm everywhere, because were more than happy to tip above and beyond. The lavender and caramel lattes were absolutely perfectly delicious. We also now have their stickers on display on our vehicles👍🏼

Merit coffee is a good place to get coffee. I guess they do very well than expected, as its always crowded.

The coffee i had was good. I would have given a 5/5 but my order was shuffled up (er can blame the peak hour😅) and had to wait again.

The location can be kept a bit more tidy but the overall ambience is good. It's compact and a embodies what a coffee place should have. Peak times are bustling, you'll have like 10 minutes wait time but the crowd keeps moving. The location is easily identifiable from the main street

Had a wonderful experience at Merit Coffee today! Their chai latte was absolutely spot-on—smooth, perfectly spiced, and not overly sweet. Just the kind of comforting yet flavorful drink I was hoping for.

Big thanks to the baristas, who handled a pretty long queue with such patience and professionalism. We were part of a group redeeming a free drink offer sponsored by Frost Bank, and despite the extra crowd, they accommodated everyone with a smile and grace.

Great service, delicious drinks, and a really welcoming vibe. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I tired the cherry blossom matcha. Personally for me the cherry foam was a bit overpowering the matcha but overall the drink was good. I will be back to try the other flavors.
