Meso Maya Comida y Copas

Meso Mayo was a very good restaurant for a date. Lights were a bit bright where we sat (middle of the restaurant) But was not too bad. Food was outstanding too!!

David, the young man who was our server on Friday night was super nice very polite very helpful when looking at the menu. It was my very first time there and he made it a very amazing visit. We will be back.

This was our first experience here and it was delightful. We started with the Ceviche Mixto and the chimichurri sauce was exquisite. We ended our meal with the Churros and wow, what a way to end it, it was amazing. Will definitely return and ask for David as our server. He was so knowledgeable, respectful and he had great recommendations. 5 stars all the way

I’ve always enjoyed the various Meso Mayas around DFW but we had a bad experience at this one. The service was erratic (we were forgotten about a few times, then drinks came after the food) and the food was not good (ordered a medium rare carne asada but it came very very rare and tough) but normally I would write this off as an off night and not bother to write a review. However, our chip basket had a cockroach running around in it. Because the place is so dark, we almost missed it. The picture shows it on the paper but it was all over the chips before I got a pic. And when we brought it up to the waiter, he replaced the chips, but I felt queasy the rest of the meal. It sucks because I like Meso Maya, it’s a regular dinner spot for us, but it’s going to take me a while before I return, and never to this location. This place is too expensive for this crap.

I had an excellent experience at Meso Maya (Preston Forest). Our server, David, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the carne asada and the salmon, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. David’s service truly elevated our meal. Highly recommend dining here and asking for him!
