Our server was very nice and attentive. Our queso and plantains came out cold. Taco dish and brisket enchiladas came out cold. Chicken enchiladas was the only dish that came out warm. The flavor is good, but the cooks ain’t doing their job to keep food warm and management seems aware and not doing anything about it. I will never waste my time here again. 90 dollars for mostly cold food…..
We really enjoyed eating here. The guacamole was excellent. My friend had the mole enchiladas, which I tried and thought was excellent. I had the Arrachera. The steak was tender and had a lot of flavor - I would highly recommend it.

Food Was Really Good, the mini tostadas were really good sharing portions for two, I had the quesadillas for me entree it was good size for one person. My margarita was also really good. Server was super sweet. Fast service. Would most definitely go again! Was digging in the app before I could get a proper pic. That’s how good it was. ?✨

We were so excited to celebrate my mother’s 55th birthday today and of all the restaurants in Dallas, she wanted to go to Meso Maya. She had been there before and enjoyed the drinks. After canceling the reservations I made for her at fine dining establishments, we showed up for our 4pm reservation at Meso Maya. From the moment we walked in, we felt as if we weren’t welcomed. The hostess apparently couldn’t find our reservation; but proceeded to seat us anyway. Our server, I believe his name was Jose or Juan, treated us as if we were there for happy hour and nothing more. First, he swung cocktail napkins in front of each person at our table asking us for drink orders as if we were sitting at the bar. We were also given lunch menus even though I made the reservation for dinner. We never got a chance get comfortable and enjoy anything we ordered including all appetizers, entrees, and cocktails because we were rushed the entire time- meanwhile the restaurant was empty. I can only imagine what the service would’ve been like; had my husband, who’s Hispanic, hadn’t of been there. It wasn’t until he started speaking to our waiter in Spanish for him to ease up a bit. What made matters worst, they never acknowledged my mom for her birthday. We weren’t looking for a free dessert and would have been glad to buy one for her, but once we were done eating the mediocre food, we were ready to go. We spent about $250 for a table of four and STILL left an $80 tip even though the service wasn’t great. But one thing’s for sure, we will never dine at Meso Maya ever again.

We traveled to Dallas and decided to try Meso Maya and were very satisfied. JD (Juan Diego) is a very excellent waiter, very attentive, professiona and gave us the top food of Meso Maya and he was right!! Ordered cochinita pibil, arrachera and some Carnita tacos and the food was great. Will be returning!

I’ve been coming to Meso Maya religiously as my mobile situation allows! lol My first experience was when Martin was here and the bartender, I loved that every Sunday I would show up for my green posole as my Sunday ritual! Not much of a drinker so I’d always get the virgin cucumber margarita…and loved that everytime I walked in within 5-8 minutes my order was already in front of my without having to actually order! Martin knew my order by heart and was on it! The tradition has now carried onto the new bartender Diana! And she is a sweet heart! Her genuine personality and ability to keep my order quick and ready when I walk through has truly impressed me about Meso Maya.

Last month we were eating as a family, everything was very good, except that when we went out to our vehicle they broke a glass trying to steal it, the cameras recorded but the thieves interfered with the recording. Parking is not secure, this happened in daylight.
Waitress took a long time to serve us . Even though it was at night, they weren't that busy.
Parking: You can get parking validated at the restaurant.
