Meso Maya is hands down Dallas’s best spot for authentic Central and Southern Mexican food. Start with the guac-queso combo, then order the Elote 🌽, charred Brussels sprouts and sweet plantains — every bite is beyond flavorful. The carne asada is perfectly marinated, tender and packed with flavor — plus it’s a huge portion, perfect to share. I’ve eaten at Meso Maya a few times, and it was always delicious with great service. We had an event at their downtown Dallas location and an issue came up. Their manager, staff, and servers were truly above and beyond!

We had dinner here because it was a well recommended place. Honestly, the food had no flavor at all. The meat in the pozole tasted old. They barely served carnitas on my plate and, again, flavorless. I'm disappointed because due to all the ratings and reviews, we had high expectations. However the service was good, they were very friendly and educated.
