We went to the McKinney Ave and Abrams Rd locations while visiting Dallas recently. The food and drinks were delicious at both locations. We liked the ambiance at the Abrams location more but service was very good at both places.

We had a family celebration and could not have been treated better! Our server Clemente is absolutely the best! He went out of his way to take excellent care of us!! He took care of every detail along with a lot of extras! We could not have been more blessed! Best server ever!The Carne Asada is amazing! It is our favorite! We really enjoyed the Margueritas too!We will definitely be back!

We really like Meso Maya, this is one of their best locations.Service can be hit or miss though, which is why I docked it some.The poblano queso is one of my fav quesos! I do think the recipe might have changed recently, but still yummy!Their salsa is super smokey and flavorful. I absolutely love it!

We stopped by for Sunday brunch and had a great meal. The service by Jessica R was excellent and the food outstanding.I had the Avocado Breakfast Torta which was delicious. But my wife’s Chicken Enchiladas was just as good, if not better. So glad we ate here!

i had two drinks, a pineapple cocktail and a house margarita. the pineapple drink was good, not very strong. i wouldn’t order the margarita again. chips and salsa were presented shortly after i was seated. the salsa was good. i ordered the arrachera for my entree. it was a large portion and tasty. i requested my steak be cooked medium and it was a bit too cooked. i was offered for it to be redone when my waiter asked how it was, but i didn’t care to wait so i ate it anyway. my waiter was nice but slow at times. i was only there for an hour and it was busy enough for a saturday night, i guess.

As for the SalvaMex options in Dallas Meso Maya is consistent. Their food is always good. This particular location is often busy most days and evenings. Tonight was no exception. The food is always good. Service can be spotty. No silverware before food had arrived. Empty glasses leaves for lost revenue opportunities when you don't check back. Overall it's a solid pick for the neighborhood.
