It was good, for the price and lunch menu. I had the taco salad which was very large I could barely finish it ??They used to charge for chips and dip but I think they cancelled that.The only issue I had with it was the tipping. I leave cash tip but the guy from the register took 4$ extra from my card as a tip!! I leave about 20% for the waitress cause I want them to have it, but I didn't even know he charge my card until I got the bank statement text a few hours later!?CHECK YOUR CARD CHARGE BEFORE LEAVING RESTAURANT

Mother in law suggested this place when we came to visit her. Portions were huge!!!! And I mean huge! We had at least two meals that we couldn’t finish so we took home. The fresh made churros with cajeta, to die for lol. The waiter was amazing, attentive, informative and respectful. This place is well hidden unless you stumble upon it, you’ll find. They are I believe next door to a biker bar(or some type of bar). While it may have not been too busy, it was a great little quaint place to visit, sit and have a small dinner. Also, for drinks, horchata mangorita and piña colada with a shot of patron. All drinks were tasty and good! Do recommend this establishment if you want a quaint and quiet place to enjoy dinner with a margarita.

This is just my totally awesome all time favorite mexican restaurant to go to! My family and I have been going here for years! The food, drinks, hot sauce, chips, atmosphere, prices, you name it, it is all just super awesome! And, the owners and staff are awesome too! I have always had nothing but a great experience at Mexicali's and I am most positive you will to!

We ordered from Mexicali and when we were delivered the food we were missing another soda and even tried getting the attention of the person who delivered the food from us, but the person ignored us and drove off. We were basically scammed. And my brother is disabled and couldn't move to the person to get their attention! I recommend you DO NOT get your food from this restaurant. They're scammers and ableists.

Typical Tex Mex foods, we had the mic combo fajitas, they were good. Our guests had, enchiladas and beef quesadillas.Both said the food was good. Service was ok, the restrooms were very clean. As was the dining areas.We will be going back.
Good affordable prices, salsa is delicious! I ordered 3enchiladas 1cheese, 2 beef, & 1 crispy beef taco w rice. Nice portions.?

I've been coming here weekly for 25 years, and still do, even though I now live in Grand Prairie. Highly recommended for great Tex-Mex for very little money and wonderful people!

I had not been to this Tex-Mex joint in several years. I ordered via Doordash service. Delivery was fine. Food was packaged & delivered orderly and on time. The food? What happened? We had nachos, enchiladas, flamedo dip, and beef tacos. Each item was no different than the next... SALT. Each item tasted like a salt shaker had fallen into it. Other than SALT there were no other flavors. I am giving three stars since it might be better in the restaurant WITH margys, and I'll have to remember to order everything without any added salt. I want to try it again. This meal was $46.00. I'll try again later. Its not Mexican food. Its plain Tex-Mex aka over load it with low quality cheddar cheese. I didn't hate it. Easy on the wallet. Salsa is very very mild & a bit sweet.
