I just want to start off by saying… Jenn treating us at the bar and changed our night. We had a bad experience prior to coming to Mexican Sugar at another restaurant. . Jen set us up for success. Her and jagger were the highlights of our night. There kindness and generosity was above and beyond. 10/10 come see Jen and jagger at the very least !

During a recent convention, I had the pleasure of visiting Mexican sugar, Carlos Ramirez, our bartender and server, was an absolute delight. His friendly demeanor and attentive service made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations based on our preferences. he showed us outstanding amazing hospitality, and because it was our first time he truly showed us an incredible time!!!! Would definitely come back with his service!

We didn't like this place, very bad service, they took a long time to serve, we arrived at 9pm and at 10:18 they didn't give us food, just appetizers, even the people in front of the restaurant who were very mean to us, they sent us to an outside table and when we were done It was emptier inside, they wouldn't want to move us until we spoke to the manager, I hope this works for more people, we also called to request a reservation and no one answered, it went to the mailbox. At the end the they just talk to us to not pay 20% of the bill and a freed dessert
This location of Mexican Sugar is absolutely gorgeous, and food was also great. What got me was the service I received. The server seemed like a nice guy but as our time went on, we started noticing how different our service was compared to the others there. We waited an excruciatingly long time for our entrees and even longer for our check. To make matters worse, the server was standing on his phone, as we waited about 20 minutes just for the bill. We were there for a birthday and honestly, the whole experience ruined the energy, and seeing how he treated the other customers with a birthday just worsened the experience. Food wise, the Chicken Enchiladas were good except the cilantro lime rice, which was just a bit too much flavor.
