We were on the way home from a long day at the hospital, and decided to get dinner at Mi Cocina. What an absolutely amazing experience. The star of the show was Alberto! He is an amazing waiter! Fun, made us laugh, on point for anything we needed before we asked, and such a personable fella. Would definitely come all the way from Rockwall just to be waited on by him. You will want to ask for ALBERTO when you go to this location. Also, food was on point and piping hot. Thank you Alberto for making it an enjoyable evening!

I had such a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday at Mi Cocina! I went with my family, and from the moment we sat down, our server Amanda made everything perfect. She truly went above and beyond for us — she was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time.

Waited twice as long as the estimated wait time. When I asked what took so long, no apology, all he said was the tacos were the last thing they were waiting on. He could tell I was annoyed and was condescending in his farewell. No attempt to make things better. When I made it home, we had half a bag of chips, the salsa was half filled, twice as long of a wait and half of the food, but full price. Not surprised in today’s environment.

I decided to get take out nachos Saturday night. It’s Monday evening. I had to miss work today and I am still unable to keep any food down. Usually, they are great and I’ve never had an issue prior but my mother and I are both experiencing diarrhea, nausea and vomiting from the chicken nachos with all the fixings on the side.
