I wasn't too sure about going to Mi Cocina with my friends because I'd been to a different location and the experience wasn't too great. The Mi Cocina in Lakewood was amazing and could most definitely teach the other location I went to some tricks! All of the food was hot and fresh, our server was awesome and quick with refills on drinks, he also did wonderful at helping with to-go boxes for all of us! I was really impressed and happy with the service at Mi Cocina and might start going more often!

I love the mambo taxis (sangria swirl margaritas). The chips and salsa comes out quick, and they have each of us our own salsa (I love that). I’m easy- I got the enchiladas. Their bacon-wrapped shrimps w jalapeño is also a delight

Afloat in an ocean of options for Mexican- how do you choose? Mi Cocina is the logical one. The service and hospitality was phenomenal. Jay went above and beyond. The recommendation for lunch was Tacos Habana- with side of guacamole and chile lime vinaigrette. Ingredients were fresh- the tomatoes exceptionally flavorful. Cilantro rice was generously seasoned. What really made this plate special as the seasoning on the chicken and balance of all flavors when they came together on corn tortillas. Fantastic!

We had a wonderful lunch at this location. The outdoor sitting area was beautiful and kept us cool. The food was good and the drinks were amazing. What truly made our experience memorable was the outstanding service from our waiter, Jay. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Jay’s excellent recommendations and positive energy added so much to our afternoon.

Everything was fantastic! The food was amazing- fresh chips and salsa to start, tasty frozen margaritas, tacos de brisket were delicious, husband loved the Luann’sand had a nice little kids menu. Our server was attentive and food came out quickly. The vibe is top notch, with very cool art on the walls. Wish I would have taken pics of the food.

The service upstairs was impeccable, the bartenders Selena, Veany, and Yesenia were kind and attending. I don’t come here all the time, but every time I visit it’s always an amazing time. Out of all the Mi Cocina Locations this one is by far my favorite. The bar tender’s upstairs are always amazing and friendly. Two tvs upstairs to watch games and have a good drink.

Food is very bland and seems to be prepackaged. Margaritas were not good. Service was okay. Not worth the price. Ribeye steak came already sliced as of used for fajitas, not a true steak for about 35 dollars. Spanish rice had no cumin and tasted like only had tomato paste. Guacamole had zero flavor and no matter how much salt I still could not get the prepackaged plastic taste out. Don’t waste your time and money. Better off going to a Mexican fast food restaurant.
