Driving by had no idea this was here and saw the sign for gumbo. I love some good gumbo and red beans. Wow. Big disappointment. Gumbo wasn’t horrible since I was able to finish most of it. Just had a cup. The red beans tasted like something out of a can. Lacked flavor. The sweet potato pie didn’t taste authentic either. Big let down since they are close by.

amazing fried catfish along with a pint of gumbo it's a very home-cooked place shout out to the man behind the counter who was very friendly and healthy. Make my choice as I was visiting. There's great business locally owned that should be supported because this is the heartbeat of America. WILL BE BACK for sure ! ❤️

Everything arrived hot and fresh gumbo definitely stole the show finger lickin good fish was fresh and its real catfish and the crawfish etouffee was fire 🔥 and i am not a big fan of mushrooms but ate every bit so that says a lot coming from me also definitely 10/10 recommend definitely will be back to try more items
So I visited this place for one thing and one thing only, and that was the gumbo. Says it's the best around, so I said let me find out. Go in order after being told the sizes I'm like okay lmg the 16oz. I got back to my car only to find I only had about a half of an ice cream scooper of gumbo and the rest was rice smh. I sent it rt on back in there to them. If I wanted just rice I would've made me a big ole bowl at home! And it wouldn't have cost 12 or 13 dollars!

Visit this location today. I must say I was truly impressed. The staff was very nice a helpful answer all my questions. Fish was good fried perfectly, Gumbo was good just right amount of meat 10 stars for that. Lemon pie a must try. Highly Recommend. It's located in the shopping center when you turn to go to Concord Church. Great place to go after church.
