My bf and I wanted to try Gumbo for the first time, so we decided to stop by Mickle. The atmosphere was really nice. The service was great! The catfish and gumbo that we ordered..... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! And to top it off the in house Sweet Tea is super fire!! I HIGHLY recommend for those first timers of Gumbo and Catfish.

Friendly atmosphere, authentic and delicious Cajun food. We had the fried shrimp and catfish basket. Perfectly prepared, with just the right amount of spiciness.. We will be back.

After reading the reviews, we decided to try this place. After fighting with traffic in uptown, we arrived 15 minutes before closing. The owner was very gracious. The gumbo is amazing, very possibly the best I've ever had, and the fried catfish was equally amazing. I highly recommend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

What a beautiful Gem of a place down in Dallas. That gumbo was the BEST I’ve ever tasted. The pleasant vibes and chill energy makes for relaxation and some southern eating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
