Every time we travel for my son’s athletic events, we looks for local restaurants and found this one. This place didn’t disappoint. The fried shrimp was cooked perfectly. The gumbo was amazing. The red beans and rice were top 3 all time. We’ll definitely be back.

I had the gumbo and it was delicious! The staff was super friendly and the owner was incredibly nice. I will most definitely be coming back to get the gumbo and try more of the menu.

My man was very cool. This gumbo off the chain. I asked for some hot sauce and we had a laugh he was like “ you gone mess it up if you want that’s on you but taste it first “ He was right no sizzle needed it had fire, perfectly cooked sausage and shrimp. Perfect. I’ll be back.

That sweet potato pie O' my Lord Jesus Christ. The best I've had. The fish and gumbo smacking!! Definitely will be returning. Service was very pleasant and the kool-aid and tea good. Don't change it.

Ordered pint of gumbo $10 , crawfish pint $10 . Lemon pie $3.25 , sweet potato pie $3.25 and red beans and rice … it was ABSOLUTELY delicious… my favorite was sweet potato pie.. homemade and warm . It’s was delicious.. would highly recommend..
