I have been here many time before Stars games and this was the most disappointing. Everything was slow! They were out of beet salad, calamari, wine we asked for, wine glasses... we drank out of brandy glasses! And the Cosmo my friend got was some of fruit punch not cranberry. This is an Italian restaurant! When we finally got our food and hour after we sat down, it was good. We were trying to g to get to the Stars game and did not make the start.

Food was good. Service was slow. Early for reservation, and still took 1 3/4 hrs. Loud environment.

We went for our 23rd anniversary and the service was awful. We were seated and ordered an appetizer and drinks. The waiter filled our water glasses. When drinks came, we ordered our meal. About 10 minutes later we got the appetizer. 35 minutes later, the waiter picked up our empty drinks and took appetize plate away. My water glass was already empty at this time. My husband ordered another beer. 20 minutes later he tried to bring us our check and asked if we needed anything else. We told him we still hadn't received our meal. He came back 7 minutes later and asked if we ordered the pizza. We told him no, and reminded him of the entrees we DID order. 17 minutes later we asked for our check for the 2 drinks and appetizer. Mind you, my water glass was still empty. When check came, my husband gave him the card and he ran it. When he brought it back 10 minutes later, we noticed it had 3 drinks on it. I approached the hostess because I couldn't find our waiter, and she pointed out the manager and said to go talk to him. So I walked over and spoke with the manager. No apology from the manager. Just apology for the "extra drink" and the statement "I will get that taken care of". So the waiter came and got our card again, and they took off the extra beer we never received. So basically an hour and a half later, we left spending $45 (for 1 appetizer, 1 margarita and 1 beer) and it was not a good experience at all. We went in the AAC and got nachos. Heck, even the table next to us told the waiter when he brought the final check that it should have been comped 100%. They got there after us and got their meal, ate and were ready to leave when we finally did. When we got there, it wasn't very busy as all. I understand when we left it was, but we had been there for over 30 minutes before it got busy.

Food was good; loved the pizza and the Nonno pasta. Drinks were good as well. Server was nice; but would suggest for her to come by more often...I needed water and would also have ordered more drinks

Met our friends there before the Stars game and we were all impressed with the ambiance and food quality. We also had our 5month old baby with us and she had a great time, noise was low and vibes were high. If you're looking for more of a sit down dinner rather than a bar to pregame this is the spot. Just be sure to book slightly ahead of time cuz it fills up closer to event day!

Big help that we arrived in a timely manner for our reservation as we know that home game hockey nights are very packed. Our server was great. We were prepared for our order and simply ordered everything at once to expedite. Good food as always.

Frequent Mio Nonno's quite a bit for our pre Stars game dinner. It's usually outstanding all-around service and excellent authentic Italian cuisine. For some reason, this time around, we were told they were out of pizza when we tried to order it. Only to see several pizzas coming out of the kitchen as we were eating our meal. Not sure what that was all about. Hopefully, I'll find out on our next outing there.

Exceptional food and a nice outdoor seating area directly across from the American Airlines Center.

Slow service. My eggplant dish was cold and hard. Could barely cut it. Calamari was overcooked and chewy and you could tell the oil it was cooked in was old/scorched. Three of us at the table were finally served 45 minutes after our order was placed. Appetizer came and entrees came 2 minutes later. My husband finally got his entree 30 minutes after everyone else was finished. Will not go back.

We went once before a Dallas Stars game and loved it. Reasonably priced and good food. So we decided to make this our Valentine's restaurant. BIG MISTAKE. This time we were rushed by pretty much the entire staff - several people would walk by asking "are you done with that?", our entrees arrived literally 2 minutes after our appetizers, and we were asked about dessert when we still had most of our meal left. Music was pretty loud and our server had a very quiet voice (and wouldn't speak louder even when we asked) so maybe they had specials, maybe they didn't - we couldn't tell. My wife's eggplant parmesan was pretty badly burnt on the edges but by that time we knew it wasn't going to be a great experience anyhow, so she just ate around it. Positives - Wine is very reasonably priced. Caesar salad, chicken parm and pastas were very tasty. Negatives - I know its a holiday but don't make us feel like its a race to see how quickly we can finish up. I think they had us out of there in under 40 minutes which is fine for a workday lunch, but NOT OK for a romantic Valentines dinner. We won't be back.

Stopped in before a Mavs game and had a wonderful experience. The server and service were great and the food was fresh and delicious. I'm sure we will be back.

The restaurant was so loud the music gave me a headache. We went before a stars game. I didn't care for the food at all in fact gave me heartburn all night.

What a horrendous experience. Went for dinner prior to the Mavs game. Arrived at 6:15, game at 7:30. We ordered right away. Shared an appetizer with my son which came right away, and then we waited. And waited. And waited. Left at 7:25 without ever receiving our entrees. No apologies, let alone a comp of the appetizer. And we learned on our way out that our waiter had been told to lie to us about the status of our order approximately 30 minutes before we departed. Dined on arena food instead. STAY AWAY!

Came in early on a Mavs game day atmosphere was amazing with the nicest most helpful service I think I have ever experienced. 10/10

We made reservations way in advance for Valentines Day after our first visit before a Stars game (and that one was fantastic). This time the food was all over the board - eggplant parm was burned (you could see and smell the burned parts), but the accompanying pasta was wonderful. Tiramasu was really good, not too heavy and very tasty. Wine is reasonably priced - we did a bottle of our favorite Luigi Righetti for only $55. Biggest problem - the service was atrocious - we were rushed from the moment we sat down. Appetizer (calamari) came then within 2 minutes our entrees were there. We were about 3/4 done with entrees when we were asked what we wanted for dessert. Still had some tiramasu on the plate when she dropped the check. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. That's ok for a weekday lunch but not for a Valentines Day dinner with a bottle of wine. The music was very loud and our server spoke in a whisper. When we asked her to speak up because the music was really loud, we got a look like we had asked her for her life savings. Very disappointed.
