Was forced to sit outside because not mentioned in reservation. Service was abysmal. Drinks were late. My pasta was cold. Wife's food eggplant rollatini was great. Outdoor bird noise was LOUD. We've been here a few times and enjoyed it but don't sit outside.

We went before the Olivia Rodrigo concert and it was packed. They were playing her music and it was a super fun atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and the food was great. I found out you can valet with them for free on an event night and save $40 so that I will definitely be back.

Visited on Valentine's evening before a Mavericks game. The service was not 100% the best but they managed to get us through our meal without concern of being late to the game. They only accepted walk-ins for the bar or the patio, so we chose the patio. It took a bit of time for someone to get to us. There was another table that was seated after us and was served before us. I was concerned that there may have been some discrimination since we were of Hispanic descent and the other table was not.The food was something to rave about though. We started with Fried Calamari and the dipping sauce was excellent. We split the Margherita pizza and Nonno's. The tomato-gorgonzola sauce on Nonno's was divine and the Calabrese peppers were not as spicy as I had anticipated. We ordered the Canoli for dessert and I was not impressed. There were 3 small Canolis, one with sprinkles, one with pistachios, and one with chocolate chips. The cream did not have a good flavor. Despite some setbacks, I would visit again, especially if I was in the area for an event. We parked a few blocks away to save some money on parking.

Mio Nonno was a good place to get decent Italian and other foods. It is very convenient if you plan to attend a game or event at the American Airlines center. You can park in valet, eat at the restaurant and get your vehicle later. Just spending certain amount at the restaurant covers the parking.I had the Russia and it was excellent. The spicy Vodka sauce added a nice flavor to the dish and and the chicken was prepared well. The Caesar salad was very good and they make it with sardines which is original, just be prepared if you were but expecting that.My wife had L'Americano pizza. It had a wonderful crush and was cooked well allowing for lovely bite with the pepperoni.I would return again to dine here.

Our server, Gideon, made us feel like we were the only table in the whole restaurant. He provided explanations, recommendations, and answered our questions as we were first-timers. The service throughout the entire evening was a 10/10 experience. Egzon, the manager checked in on us multiples times during our visit to make sure everything lived up to our expectations (it did AND more). We enjoyed the piccata and the risotto; and sampled the crème brûlée, cheesecake, and tiramisu. Finished the evening with one of the best espresso martinis I’ve had in Dallas. All pasta, pizza, and dessert is made in house and you can TELL!!! Absolute pleasure and can’t wait to return.

First and foremost, the food was very good. One of us had salmon and the other had pasta; both were prepared well and served at the appropriate temperature. Wait staff was pleasant, but slow to get to us once we were seated and never revisited once the food was served to check on water, tea, drinks. We made our reservation on Open Table but when we arrived were told we did not have a reservation even after we showed the attendant our Open Table confirmation. We were told we could sit outside on a fairly chilly night but otherwise there was no reservation in the system. Ultimately the restaurant found a spot for us indoors but the episode took a little luster off the start to the evening.

My 6 year old son and I had our first opportunity to dine here recently. The food was great! Above all else, the staff and management were incredibly accommodating. We will be back and fully

Food was delicious. But our waiter was extremely rude and passive aggressive. For that, I won’t go back and would urge you to find a different place. Carbone is right down the road.

Our server was NOT good. It took 30 Minutes for us to even get a drink. He would not check on us. We kept having to wave him down to get anything at all. We were going to the Mavericks game and he made us over 15 mins late. He had no sense of urgency and we were an afterthought to him. We usually have great service, but it was very poor last night.

I had the veal piccata & my husband enjoyed the ciopollano soup. Our meal was excellent. The service was a bit slower than usual but the restaurant was busy & the slower pace was not a problem. We will definitely dine here again

Waited a few minutes at host stand before we were greeted. Got sat without a menu. We ordered calamari for appetizers, lobster ravioli and the Diavolo pizza for dinner and tiramisu for dessert. Calamari good. Diavolo- amazing, lobster ravioli kinda fishy like old, tiramisu bland. We couldn't taste the coffee soaked lady fingers.

I think they were very short staffed. Everything was off. We were seated immediately and that's where the good things ended. No water, no server, no acknowledgment at our table for 25 minutes when we finally asked if someone would help us. Server took our whole order at once and we all had to repeat our orders 3-4 times each as the new handheld order thing was too hard to use. Waited another 25 min for food. Food was ok. Had to ask for water as no more was ever brought so we asked for our check so we could pay and leave when our food came as we were trying to make the Mavs game and we'd already been there 90 min. Weird night.

Our food was fantastic. Roasted chicken and lasagna were especially good. Like the atmosphere although the music was a bit loud and made conversation with the older people we brought a bit challenging. Our server was excellent...she even ran me down outside when I left my credit card. Overall, a great place for a pre-Stars game meal!!

We like eating at Mio Nonno because it's within walking distance to where we live. We always enjoy the food, but this last time I felt rushed. We had barely gotten our appetizer when they brought the salads and then our entrees came soon after. I felt like I didn't have time to enjoy each course before the next one came. This won't keep us from going back though. The food and service are always very good.
