Went here for the 1st time for lunch. Unique menu with cuisine inspiration from Italy, Spain and Mexico. I had the Chile Relleno which was on special. Very tasty! The server was awesome. We met the chef who was very friendly and filled us in about their menu and gave recommendations. I'll be back!

First off Mixtitos is a hidden gem. It's in East Dallas but don't let that stop you from dropping in. Chef Jose will blow your taste buds away with his unique dishes. The passion is shown amd tasted in each dish. If you want a flavorful dining experience you MUST give this place a try.

Wonderful food. I had Shepard's pie. Very savory. The curry sauce was delightful which complimented the rice and veggies. I also had the chorizo fondue I believe, which was delicious. A bit greasy from the melted cheese, but that's expected and I absolutely loved it. Well portioned. The server was on top of everything and was fast. Planning on coming again since there were quite a few things on the menu that caught my eye.

First time experience today. The menu had so many things that I wanted to try. The pork belly was amazing. The tacos de Pastore were very flavorful. There were the perfect size. Everything on my plate was WOW. Thank you.
I was charmed by the atmosphere, service, and the variety! Really interesting fusion cuisine.
Amazing food! Such a great experience. A must if you are in the area.

My friend and I went last night (Tuesday, 8/27) because it was "taco" night. She and her husband had raved about this restaurant and they weren't wrong! The tacos were so good. 3 small street sized cheesy chicken tacos. The cheesy part was like a cripy piece of cheese propped up in the taco. The chips were legit and the salsas were both wonderful. The owner and chef came out and visited. I know they are worried and there wasn't a crowd when we were there. Give it a shot! You wil lbe happy you did, I think.

omg! Just amazing food and drinks!
Walked in with my husband not knowing a lot about this place. Great food. We shared a shrimp cocktail and it was amazing. He had the fajitas and said it was great. I had the creamy pasta chicken and it was delicious. The margaritas were also very good.

What a gem that we almost missed! I was craving enchiladas to help with my hangover, but when we got there and looked at the menu there were no enchiladas, so we almost left. We were in our car looking on Yelp, and Chef JoseLuis personally came out to ask why we left. I explained my craving, and he said that they have EXCELLENT enchiladas on the secret menu. So, we went back in and had a WONDERFUL lunch. He told us about his history (he worked under a famous chef named Charlie Palmer) and a little about the restaurant, and we learned about a few of the awards that they have won. He said that they can accomodate any dietary restriction, and they use fresh, healthy ingredients. We are just sad that we live four hours from Mixtitos, so hopefully this review will encourage others to support this great restaurant!

The food and service was 5 star. The owner came and checked on us several times. The drinks were very good. Loved my margaritas. They recommended Lalo tequila for sipping and it was fabulous. I recommend this quaint place for a great eating, visiting, and drinking experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at Mixtitos today for lunch. We were greeted immediately upon entering and escorted to our table. Chef Jose Luis came out to say hello and asked if we had any questions about the menu. We had the Chori-Queso Fondue to start, which was served table side by Chef Jose. Delicious. I had the Schnitzel Sandwich, which came with Truffle Fries. Both were seasoned perfectly. Dessert was Tres Leches Cake, which was the best Tres Leches cake I have ever had. Mixtitos is truly a rare gem. Highly recommend!
