Best lemon meringue pie we've had in many, many years! We've been searching for a similar one we grew up with in New Orleans from a bakery that shut down years ago - MacKenzie's. We finally found it! We loved everything about this pie - the crust, the filling and the meringue. We closed our eyes and thanked God for Miz G's pie as we tasted it for the first time. Just delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Delicious pies. Quick service. Friendly owner and family. I ordered a Lemon Chess and Sweet Potato pie. It was difficult to find a place that sold both. However Miz G provided both. Nicely packaged. The only suggestion to share would be to provide directions such as 're-heat' or 'serve immediately from fridge'. Thank you for your awesome service especially during this busy holiday season!!!

I ordered 3 pies & cake for Thanksgiving 2 weeks ahead of time.Pick up Wednesday at 12noon the day before Thanksgiving . Call to pickup my order they said my Cheesecake won't be ready until 5:30pm first issue. I said ok i understand she trying to get a lot of order out. Call back before heading out, she said i can't find the receipe. 2nd issue you have been baking for over 30years, thats a problem. I said don't worry i will take what you have, Miz G said, there is still time i will get it to you before yall eat on Thanksgiving 12noon. Miz G didn't call that night to update me on my order. Call me at 3pm on Thanksgiving saying i know you're upset but it was a Goat at my door this morning. How is your Sunday i should be rested by then. I'm thinking are you serious!!! This was the worst, i still don't have my cakes & pies. Point made she never fix any of my order. She has all these great reviews, I'm sure she does a great job.This is my experience BE AWARE !!!

I order a cake every month if not week. This cake was her first challenge a red Velvet cheesecake. And baby let me tell you my guys at work went crazy. They all SAID THANK YOU MIZ.G. look at those pics. You haven't order from Miz. G... You missing your blessing.

Rude over the phone and in real life, she sounds judgemental if you have an accent, and feels like she is better than everyone else. Miz G also doesn't have good communication. Miz G is a very impatient and unwelcoming owner. Her pie crusts are dry and they're too sweet and uncooked.
