Shocked by how good this was, because the atmosphere isn’t perfect. The food is OUTSTANDING. The service is great. Do not leave without ordering the hungry baked potato. Fried pickle - best I’ve had. Chicken - moist. Jalapeño sausage - spicy. Bartender can make a solid margarita. Not kidding- the food was so good, I asked my husband if he was friends with the chef! (We aren’t, yet)
I needed a lunch before doing a tour and this place was perfect. My first lunch in Texas and I was so thrilled with the food and experience.
Super helpful staff being there counter - for us tourist with strange English 😎.
Food options were great. The brisket sandwich and chips (aka crisps) was scrumbo! That’s really good.
Recommended to any and all.

As far as Texas BBQ goes, this place is not it. The brisket was moist but very fatty and bland. The jalapeno sausage was very good. Turkey was bland. The mashed potatoes were bland, no gravy, nothing. Literally just a mashed potato. Cornbread was cake, not actual cornbread. The Mac n cheese was very good but it would've tasted a lot better if I didn't have to go up to the counter near the end of my meal and ask for it, and they didn't believe that I paid for it...
